Nice Hotel in Kirchberg

We had an overnight stay with half board, and the hotel did not disappoint. We booked the Hotel because of the Spa and everything was just what we were hoping for. The pool is small but perfectly fine for the number of guests, and the spa area, including the sauna and steam bath, was excellent. The outdoor area is spacious, and it’s lovely to walk around and unwind. Dinner was a set course meal and really tasty, especially the butter in the appetizer. Our waiter, Timo, was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was also awesome. The room was beautiful, with a wooden floor instead of carpet, and we even got some Milka treats, which was a sweet touch. The hotel is a bit far from the center, but that was exactly what we wanted, a little retreat away from the city. For all the amenities and the half board, the price felt just right.

Great holiday in Hotel Sonnalp - hope to come back

Nice hotel with view on the mountains. Very friendy staff in the Hotel. The waiters in the restaurant were also very friendly. For example, there was a waiter who walked around the restaurant very gracefully, which was nice to see :) The pool was big and the sauna was nice and hot!

Just OK, but nothing great 🤨

good sized room, very clean, good facilities

grumpy bar man, dinner buffet and all desserts cleared away at 8.30pm, outdoor seat cushions removed and all lights turned off at 9.00pm, Not what we’d call a friendly and welcoming establishment ☹️

Great hotel at a reasonable price

Nice staff, room was large enough. Breakfast varied and coffee good. Hotel has a swimming pool which we didn't use but seemed nice.

Location in itself is great but for now is next to a building site and that ruins it.

Great unused potential

The property has a nice garden and a clean pool, sauna and hydromassage.

Unfortunately we paid for a room with mountain view, but only got to see a construction site (see image). The staff was ok, but did not seem too motivated to work with the guests. Motivation could only be seen as two wealthier guests came in. Nobody asked whether we enjoyed our stay at check-out. For breakfast you get to be seated at a fixed place that you cannot choose yourself. The staff was also very loud at breakfast time and was coming in with plates of food and tossing them on top of the existing one. At first we thought it was another client, who changed his mind and brought the omlette back, which seemed disgusting and made us not eat anymore. The breakfast area was also very busy and loud, while outdoors there were many tables staying empty. In sommer it would be nice to be allowed to sit there.

They are not 4*- If they rated themselves as a 3* we would have been satisfied. No coffee maker in room- no plastic glasses- No mini fridge- no options for the above. Breakfast: good/ Dinner: mediocre at best.

Exceptional

Excellent breakfast served buffet style. The sauna was phenomenal and located right next to the pool. The ski shuttle was quick and dropped us right at the slopes.

Friends group January 2022.

The customer service was outstanding. Always helpful and attentive. Rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean, as were all the facilities. Maid service daily. Breakfast was excellent. Plentiful, varied and fresh. Evening meals were good but not excellent. Pool is lovely, but quite small with no extra massage jets. Can get busy with children. Sauna and steam room very good. For Brits reading this please be aware that continental saunas are used naked. Shuttle bus service to closest lift (Maierlbahn) in mornings. Need to catch a bus back in afternoon. Maybe 500m to walk from bus stop to hotel. All in all an excellent choice for a mid price range hotel.

No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. A kettle would be great. But we were aware of this in advance so brought our own travel kettle.

Uitstekend hotel voor short ski!

Heel vriendelijk personeel aan de receptie. Ruime & nette kamer met balkonnetje. Hotel heeft voorziening voor elektrisch laden. Ski-kelder aanwezig. Ontbijt buffet met voldoende keuze, avond eten in meerdere gangen, met vlees/vis/veggie opties.

Ons verblijf was te kort om van alle faciliteiten gebruik te maken. Hotel ligt iets buiten het centrum, dus skibus of auto nemen naar de lfit.

Als het personeel er meer zin in zou hebben dan zou je je als gaat sommige punten vergeten. Dat is nu niet het geval.

Locatie en uitstraling en parkeermogelijkheden. Vervoer naar de piste was goed.

Ontbijt, zwembad, sauna, fitness waren heel goed, personeel was vriendelijk. Super naar ons zin gehad.

Diner was goed, wel wat eenvoudig, er komt een nieuwe keuken aan dus zullen ze daar meer mogelijkheden krijgen, dat ze dit al gepland hebben is een een goede actie. Ook hier was de bediening vriendelijk, snel en behulpzaam

Sehr schönes, gemütliches und sauberes Hotel in bester Lage. Personal aussergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück und Abendessen top, große Auswahl. Hunde sind sehr willkommen. Großer Parkplatz.

Die Portionen beim Abendessen hätten gerne etwas größer ausfallen dürfen.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !!!

Ein schönes Hotel mit herausragendem rundum Servicepersonal. Egal ob an der Rezeption, beim Essen, an der Bar oder das Reinigungspersonal. Alle immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Absolut hundefreundlich mit direkten verschiedene Wegen zum spazieren gehen. Das 4-Gang Wahlmenü war sehr ansprechend angerichtet und sehr gut im Geschmack. Wir kommen gerne wieder und auch gerne für länger.

Das Abendessen war manchmal nur lauwarm aber dennoch lecker im Geschmack. Es wäre schön, wenn der Speck am Frühstücksbuffet kross ausgebacken gewesen wäre.

Sehr Nettes Personal

Das Personal im Sevice überfordert, hier fehlte die Stucktur. Bis auf 2 Mitarbeiter wusste keiner wie er sich in Service zu verhalten hat. Der Zimmerservice war nicht in der Lage Saunatücher nachzufüllen oder die Abfalleimer zu leeren. In unserem 2. Zimmer ging das ganze Wochenende die Heizung nicht. Nach der Reklamation wurde uns ein kleiner Heitzkörper zu Verfügung gestellt. In diesem Zimmer wurde vom Vorgänger ein Becher Kaffe verschüttet. Das Reinigungspersonal war aber nicht in der Lage diesen eingetocketen Fleck auf dem Fliesen Boden zu entfernen.Das Essen war interessant aber sehr ausgefallen. Hier würde eine Regionale Küche mit Gerichten die nicht erst in Googel übersetzt werden müssen reichen. Der Saunabereich ist nett, aber für ein so großes Haus zu klein. Das selbige gilt für den Ruhe Bereich. Dieser wir aber 2026 erweiter.

Hohe Qualität zu erschwinglichen Preisen.

Großes Hotelzimmer mit schönen Tiroler Charme. Betten waren bequem. Es fehlte an nichts. Sehr sauber. Personal sehr freundlich. Lage und Umfeld fantastisch. Frühstück und Abendessen absolut köstlich. Parkplätze genügend vorort.

Eine winzig winzig winzig kleine Kleinigkeit. Bei vollem Haus ist die Position des Frühstücksbüffet sehr ungünstig. Eng und durcheinander. Man musste alles suchen. Wobei es aber an nichts fehlte. Personal ist spitze, aber oft überfordert. Es schien als würde jeder alles machen. Was am Tisch schon mal hektisch rüber kam oder man vergessen wurde. Aber durch deren Charme hat man das schnell vergessen.

Gemütliches Hotel

Sehr gute ruhige u doch zentrumsnahe Lage, extra Fahrradhütte, wunderschöner gr Garten mit vielen Liegeplätzen, sehr gutes Essen am Abend, schöner Saunabereich. Freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Leider hatten wir ein sehr altes dunkles Zimmer im 3.Stock ohne Balkon u immer gleich dunkel da vermutlich Nordseite u unterm Vordach, an der Hinterseite.etwas muffig u alter Teppich.. aber sauber.
