Lovely charming room in a great location. Communication and access was all very good.

We could hear the guests moving around upstairs (not a problem for me as I can tune this out) I thought breakfast was included in the price (based on name of establishment) but this is an optional add on. But I should have read the info more closely. No face to face interaction with anyone!

Great choice for a short-stay in Antwerp!

Located in a quasi-central spot of central Antwerp this hotel features a small number of rooms away from the street, beyond an interior courtyard. It’s nicely decorated, each room is themed around an aspect of the city’s history. Comfortable beds and good heating. Shower it petite but has good water pressure. The lighting is also very agreeable. A kitchenette offers a range of option including Nespresso, with a well-stocked array of capsules. Two doors down there’s a super breakfast spot, Tinsel, which fills up in the morning for their great breakfast menu. Stefan was our contact via WhatsApp and very responsive and allround kind in interactions. I would probably come back here on a future trip.

The room was one floor up with a see-through staircase leading up to the door. Once at the door, a second staircase led up to the room. Those stairs are not for everyone. The lack of railings feels uncomfortable. For space efficiently the toilet en bathrooms have sliding doors - they don’t close all that effectively so privacy can be a bit of an issue to some.

Close to city centre

Nice room near the Antwerp city centre. Although you never meet the staff, there are clear instructions how to checkin and checkout. The room had a nice theme, with lots of items in the style.

I liked it

Was sent an abundance of useful Information before I arrived in terms of places and recommendations etc. Even though I did not need any assistance it was good to know the host was available if I did needed them. The location was perfect for me and the room was great also to my surprise had a very nice size LG tv not some tiny cheap thing on the wall and probably one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a long time.

The front door is glass and not covered so can be seen through, made me a little uneasy at first but I got used to it and this small detail does not diminish the good stuff about staying here its all down to how the individual feels about it.

A cosy place to stay in a lovely area.

The De Koninck room we stayed in is very well equipped with everything you might need for a short stay and it’s got a convenient layout. The property has got an additional coded gate to inner courtyard which strengthened the feeling of security. The room is of modern design and well refurbished, and the location is perfect for exploring the historic city centre, museums etc. Just be aware that the bathroom and toilet are accessed from the main room with sliding doors so this is for people who are comfortable with each other:) But it’s a great value for money. The communication with the host was smooth and fast, we really enjoyed our stay in this place!

It wasn’t a problem for us but be aware that if you stay on the first or second floor there’s no lift and the stairs are quite steep, so probably not suitable for people with reduced mobility. But it didn’t affect us, as we had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay there again.

Here for 4 days in Antwerp.

We liked how close it was to attractions to see and restaurants and small gathering places to enjoy a beer or coffee. We also really enjoyed the outdoor seating area downstairs from our room. We sat down there and had a meal and a few glasses of wine/beer.

Very dirty room in noisy location

This is a very small and very dirty room in a very noisy location. I should have read the reviews of others more carefully before booking - they made plenty of references to how the place has not been cleaned properly in a long time. This, and the fact that you cannot get a decent night's sleep because of noise from the square and the neighbours, really spoiled my visit to Antwerp. There must be better places to stay for that money.

Everything was great! The owners were very friendly and we were even able to check in earlier since we arrived in the city earlier. It was a nice room with a fridge and small dining table, and it was nice that the toilet and shower were separated

I liked the look/design of the room. Comfy bed, good strong shower. Super close to the center of Antwerp. A lot of good restaurants nearby. Very friendly owner. On the last day of our stay, after we checked out, we could store our luggage in a closet next to the room. So we could have a few more hours in the city before we went home.

Great stay, best location

Location is the best. Just a few minutes away from the historic city center but also just a few minutes from the more modern Eilandje area.

Not that sound-proof. You can hear the upstairs neighbours walking around in the room very clearly.

Location is great, felt secure( we had room on a groundfloor) and private. The fridge was stocked with drinks and coffee with coffee machine. Great tips from the owners via message. Bed was big.

The bed was not comfortable, the same pillows. The sliding doors to the WC was constantly opening. The room and especially WC and the shower room need a good clean!

Good location, rubbish breakfast (don’t bother!)

Great comfy bed, great location, nice and peaceful.

Communication with the host was slow eg we weren’t sure whether they had received our message about breakfast as they didn’t confirm. And breakfast was really disappointing - 15 euros for very basic products, and not at all the bio products mentioned in the property description. Just ‘value’ yoghurts, cheap croissant etc. Don’t have the breakfast! Also incredibly dusty under the bed, and some maintenance needed in the bathroom. Also very small eg loo is just a door of the bedroom, so not great for privacy - fine if you’re expecting that but it was a bit of a surprise that it was so basic for the price we had paid.

Leuk en centraal gelegen appartement in MAS-stijl, doch erg gehorig.

Voorzieningen dichtbij, op loopafstand van bezienswaardigheden. Leuk ingericht. Koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Kleine attentie in de vorm van snoepjes. Fijn ook dat er ruim voldoende handdoeken waren.

Het appartement was echt MEGA gehorig. Boven ons was ook een appartement. De gasten aldaar vonden het nodig om op zondagochtend om 4:00 uur eens flink rond te stampen. Flinterdunne plafonds.

Het was wat gehorig. We hoorde de boven buren stampen en de wc deur mag iets meer afgesloten. Maar zou het zo weer boeken hoor!

Leuke locatie en prettige kamer

Prettige ruimte van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn dat er een klein keukentje bij zit en dat je op het terras voor je kamer kunt zitten. Gelegen op een leuk pleintje in een leuke wijk dichtbij het oude centrum. Makkelijk geregeld en snel contact met de host, werkt handig met in- en uitchecken en bagage achterlaten. Prijs/kwaliteit dik in orde. Ik onthoud 'm voor een volgend nachtje Antwerpen.

Ligt niet aan de b&b, maar omdat je in het centrum zit is parkeren wat lastiger, of je parkeert bij een P+R en reist nog 20 minuten met het ov (wat ook prima te doen is).

Zeer goede B&B waar we zeker weten weer terugkomen en vrienden dit zullen aanbieden.

Dat alles lekker dichtbij was voor ons. Veel op loop afstand precies zoals we gedacht hadden. B&B was ook zeer mooi en naar behoren precies zoals de foto’s omschreven. Als we een app stuurde naar Stefan kregen we binnen 5 minuten een reactie. Kortom zeer goede service en volgend jaar komen wij zeker weten terug Stefan.
