Perfect base for your Antwerp adventure

Excellent location

The location is excellent. We were accommodated with an early check-in which helped a lot after a long flight.

We stayed for three nights but only had water and toilet paper for 1-2 days so we had to replenish it. The apartment is perfect for a short stay but we struggled with space because we had larger luggage (11 day vacation).

Peaceful and comfortable accommodation.

Very well located property if you need to be at the University but also want to be right by the historic quarters and the cathedral. Lovely homely room with a private terrace. Very quiet location.

Would definitely go here again!

The bnb was in a perfect location and the room was well curated. We loved the interiors and the cozy vibes. The host was very nice and left a map of the city with some recommendations. We really loved our stay and we would definitely go there again!

There were some mosquitoes in the room even if the host put some mosquitoes nets on the windows (which we appreciated). We bought a mosquito repellent from the supermarket near the bnb and all was good!

Comfortable room, great location, fantastic hosts

Quirien and Maike were incredibly welcoming and accommodating - helping me to check in early so that I could run to an appointment, allowing me to check out later, and always being open with tips and advice to better enjoy Antwerp. Excellent hosts!

The parking situation was a bit difficult but this was also not fully in their control (and not untypical for Antwerp) - and they pointed out an easy way to manage loading and unloading of the car in front of the BnB.

Music and spacieuse terrasse. Very good decoration taste.

Not luminous, the light bubbles are not strong enough. Sink in bathroom is too small. No answer from the tenant while asking for a favor, not professional.

I loved the accommodations more than Antwerp itself.

It was a great stay. the hosts, location, bed, and room were all great! Hosts were very accommodating and let me check in early and out late. the bed and room were very comfortable. the apartment was in a great location and very well kept.

no breakfast, no tv in my room. I was fine with both of these. But they would be nice to have as well. there is a coffee bar and mini fridge.

Highly recommend

Location is central and convenient.The hosts were very helpful from the very beginning and advised us of all the information required before getting to Antwerp. We were promptly welcomed by Quirien and helped us with our luggage going up the stairs. There were Belgian spirits in the hallway for you to enjoy, and we got an orientation of the apartment. Which included a map that had lists of recommendations of shops, taxi numbers, and instructions. The hosts were very flexible and gave us a late checkout (subject to availability). Which was an added bonus for us. Thank you so much to Quirien and Mieke for making our first time in Belgium so easy and memorable. Thank you for being so thoughtful, generous, and for being such hospitable hosts.

Loved Antwerp and our location but the room requires a bit of tlc.

Fixtures and fittings were nice. Shower was great. Record player was brilliant. Good to have a coffee machine and fridge.

Bathroom ceiling had flaking paint. Outdoor space wasn’t very attractive. Apart from coffee and one bottle of water it would’ve nice to have had a few items of food. Pillows were uncomfortable. Ran out of shower gel and nobody around to replace so we were told to buy our own (apologies received and offer made to refund us).

Clean, comfortable, very centrally located accommodation with genuinely lovely warm, caring hosts.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Lucy’s. From initial booking through to check out, our hosts could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The terrace outside was the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely coffee to start the day. The accommodation is within easy walking distance of all of Antwerp’s attractions and we were kindly provided with a map and restaurant recommendations, which proved very useful. Our hosts gave us lots of local information and tips, which added to our trip immeasurably. Quirien and Mieke, are caring, thoughtful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in their little oasis. We would not hesitate to recommend.

Just a ‘B’ not a ‘B&B’

Room was fine. Bed very comfortable.

Bathroom was weird, no space, sterile and the extraction fan only went on for about 80 seconds before it switched off which was annoying because there were no windows. No bedroom ‘turn over’ which means we were using the tissues as toilet paper as a last resort. No option to have replacement towels. Also the balcony belongs to the two rooms so if you don’t want random strangers waking/smoking/eating right in front of you if you’re staying in the Diamond room the curtains have to remain firmly closed. Also the walls are paper thin. Last but not least, it’s classed as a B&B, there’s no breakfast so that could lead to a problem with trade descriptions with either Lucy in the sky or booking themselves?

Perfect place to explore Antwerpen

Very cosy and comfortable place. Super clean and nicely decorated. Very friendly host. Location is perfect to explore the city - just 5min walking distance to the grote markt. Couldn't be happier with our stay.

Perfect base from which to explore Antwerp on foot!

Very comfortable bed, perfect temperature in the room, great hosts (very responsive), nice terrace (shame about the weather!) and very well located - everywhere we wanted to go was about a 20' walk north or south, and we were also able to walk from the station (not much more than 20' either).

Only minor details: we fought over the duvet which wasn't quite wide enough. Would have liked a few more surfaces in the bathroom to place toiletry bags on.

Beautiful room, great location, excellent hosts.

The property was beautiful, decor was lovely. we had a terrace too. The record player was a lovely touch. Check in was very easy, Quirien was in constant contact to make sure someone would be there to greet us on arrival. The artwork in the rooms and hallways are really nice. the property looks very luxurious and classy but without being try hard. The bed was large and comfy, it was two mattresses pushed together but this didn’t cause any issue at all. We brought our laptop along as there isn’t a tv, this again was no big deal. Hot drink facilities were available in the room, with a mini bar outside in the hallway. This had a selection of liquor from Antwerp, plates, corkscrew etc. everything one could need. Quirien allow us to check out later, as our train was a late one, this was really nice and helped our final day go smoothly. The location of the property was perfect, maybe 15 mins walk from the station. There is a corner shop, pharmacy and supermarket 1 minute away - literally across the road. The property itself, the location and the hosts made this the perfect place to stay if visiting Antwerp.

calming spot in the middle of Antwerp

This was a great spot very central in Antwerp. The space and decor felt very relaxing to return home to and the shower was really nice. Like a snow pod bathroom. There were some great amenities like teas and some spirits and water and coffee. The hosts were very accommodating. Thank you!

Great location and a short walk to whatever you need. The room is very beautiful and very clean. The stuff is so friendly and always ready to help in case of any questions or assistance. We liked this place. See you next time! :)

a nice place to stay when visiting Antwerp

unique, in a quiet, but convenient location. it is a short walk to trendy Grote Markt with its many restaurants and shops, and to the MAS museum. the owners add nice personal touches, including a turntable and records, several bottles to pour a drink in the common area.

Gorgeous modern apartment right in the Old Centre

No breakfast available at the B&B but absolutely super facilities. The bed was super comfortable. We loved the record player and played the Sade and Tears For Fears albums. Great location for visiting the Old District.

Felt very welcome! We got to check-in before the arranged time, and we could leave our bags after check-out, so we had every second to hang around in the city of Antwerpen. Mieke answered all our questions and responded very quickly.
