The hostel is a 300 year old building with a lot of character in a convenient location for the old town. It is about a 20 minute walk from the railway station. The wi-fi is good and there is a fridge for guests. There is a supermarket nearby, open every day. We were able to leave our bags there after checking out and the hostel suited our needs for our first stay in Antwerp.
The interior was dark, probably due to the age of the building, and some of the ceiling lights in our bedroom were not working. We had a shower in our room but the bracket for the shower head was broken, so some repairs and maintenance would be good. There are some very steep stairs to reach the upper floors, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Nevertheless, it was clean and not expensive, and we would stay there again.

Zimmer sehr karg (kein Schrank, kein Bügel, keine Ablage) - Treppen sehr steil und nur einseitiges Geländer - Notfallplan kaum lesbar (siehe Foto)

Minimalistische Ausstattung im Zimmer, klein aber fein, für eine Nacht optimal, wir hatten ein separates WC und die Dusche im Zimmer, sehr bequeme Kissen (Schaumkissen wie Black Rolls oder ähnliches), Check in sehr unkompliziert und er war sehr nett, wunderschönes Haus, sehr verwinkelt mit vielen Treppen, Bequemes Bett, Frühstück war einfach gehalten und nichts spektakuläres war gut, Lage sehr zentral gelegen und ruhig, wirkte sehr sauber auf mich und würde wieder dort übernachten.
Für eine Nacht und ohne hohe Ansprüche was alles sehr gut!

Personeel was erg aardig en behulpzaam! Locatie was perfect en het was een rustige buurt waardoor we een goede nachtrust hadden.
De wc was buiten de kamer, niet heel handig. De douche werkte niet goed, bleef heel lang ijskoud en als die eindelijk warm was werd de douche weer ijskoud uit het niets. Niet fijn als het 1 graad is buiten. Er was geen comfortabel kussen, tafel, prullenbak, of badmat op de kamer waardoor alles nat werd. De kamer kan met een paar aankopen veel beter worden!
