The B&B in itself is average/basic compared to what I have previously experienced in Belgium. However, the problem arose upon leaving the place. a) the departure time from the room was supposedly 11 AM, but the cleaner turned up at 10 AM, so I had to leave the room one hour earlier than planned. b) I wanted to store my luggage to walk around more freely, but the access information of the luggage storage were incorrect, and I could not access it. I messaged the owner twice, called three times, the cleaner called as well, he never answered. So I had to take my luggage with me which has significantly hindered my activities for the day and basically ruined my day. Looks like the owner didn't care about his guests and also his staff, as he didn't even respond to his cleaner. When you manage a place like this, you have to be responsive and be able to assist the guests, when needed. The bare minimum would also be to be able to have the room until the time mentioned on the booking, and not be forced to leave one hour earlier. Definitely not helpful and not recommended.

We didn’t order breakfast but I understand it arrives by basket and is left outside. Nice room/apartment set back from Sint Paulusplaats. Easy to find from Antwerpen Centraal Station. We took trams 10 and 7 with a change at Nationale Bank. Close to bars and restaurants, and close to the waterfront. Nice little apartment for a short break.

On arrival I was informed that there was no room suitable for us. This is despite me contacting the hotel on at least 3 occasions both by telephone and email to confirm that there were facilities for disabled guests and that there was a ground floor room or a lift available. There were neither. The person who greeted us did arrange for another hotel which in my opinion was much superior. I believe the hotel was aware of this but did nothing to contact us.

Very friendly and helpful staff (owner), helped us in the parking and with our luggage. We felt immidiately 'at home' and welcome. Nice, proper and very clean room (interior furnished with good taste). Slept very well (good bed) Very good breakfast.

We have been during Easter week in Belgium and it is not possible to say that in the hotel of this city, where we have been staying, it has fulfilled more than spare the spectives. I recommend it both for its treatment, cleanliness, price and location. The attention has been very good as have their breakfasts.

Had an amazing stay here! The location was central to some of the best sites in Antwerp, the owners were wonderfully polite and helpful. Breakfast was delicious - a basket of traditional European breakfast staples - including a chocolate croissant, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice and much more. Room is modern, updated, cozy and super clean. Would (and hopefully will) definitely stay here again!
