Close to town bed comfy staff friendly
We booked an executive room and it was tired - the headboard was ripped in places and was covered with the upright pillows - the bath had black mould around tiles and the sink water wouldn’t go down because it was blocked with hair

Staff were excellent when we needed extra toilet rolls and towels they were left quickly

The accessible room was spacious. The walk-in shower area was large enough to manoeuvre the wheelchair with ease. Grabrails were plentiful. The bed was large and comfortable. There were sufficient clothes hangers and drawers.
The breakfast was excellent with a great choice.
The pillows on the bed were rather hard. The chairs were too large but a pillow behind my back resolved the issue. One lift was out of order and at busy times there was a longer than expected wait.

Very close to the venue I was competing in
The bathroom was filthy, paint was coming off the walls. The noise from next doors pub was crazy all night long and very hard to sleep

Great location, discounted parking off site, very clean, staff very helpful.
Room size was quite small and the bed was ok but not particularly comfortable, only stayed for 2 nights but if longer may have been a problem.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, the lady on the duty desk was so helpful and showed a professional level of interest in our activities. Other staff we came across in the lifts etc were all helpful, polite and kind.
We waited quite a while for food in the restaurant but that was ok not really something we didn’t like. The food was very nice.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
The room was extremely warm which was uncomfortable at night. Couldn’t open the window as it was very noisy outside. The breakfast was quite cold and there was no bread for toast and no orange juice available

I really like the location of the hotel, close to many restaurants and cafes and many other attractions. Its clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The prices are really affordable and the room is comfortable and clean.
I don't really have anything bad to say, the hotel checked me in two hours before the check in time, and they helped me in calling in a taxi to take me to the airport even when it was 6am, and there are snacks at affordable prices just in case you needed something late at night. What is there not to like?

Complementary upgrade, very comfortable bed.
Very noisy outside, the sound insulation on the windows wasn’t that great

Great location
Solo travelers always seem to get tiny rooms even when staying multiple nights. Black mold around the window (room 232) possibly because there is no extractor in the bathroom. I asked for an itemised receipt when buying snacks from reception and was told that's not possible. I assume you are VAT registered and therefore must legally provide these. My back is killing me after 3 nights in one of your beds and even with all lights on I had to take something close to the window in order to read it during the day.

The location of the hotel was good. A 10 minute walk into the town centre. Lots of shops, bars & restaurants. Also Q Park First Street is literally a 5 minute walk.
We were initially put into a room suitable for wheel chair users which had an automated door. (not sure why we were given this room but hey). The door was faulty, kept opening by itself. We were reluctant to leave the room as we had our luggage & personal belongings in the room. Reported to reception, said maintenance will check & it's probably the battery. I asked for another room & the young lady kindly moved us to another room. This room was passable. Air conditioning didn't work, kept coming up with an error code & the door wouldn't lock from inside. Luckily the window could be open. The lamp behind the chair kept flickering it had a faulty switch on the cable. Reported to reception upon check out. Also the lighting is terrible very dark especially in the bathroom. The breakfast isn't worth £16. Little choice, but that's my personal opinion.
