Let down by the breakfast.

Room clean, large car park,

The hot breakfast, 90% of the food was all empty 1 hour before they closed. We had to ask if any hot breakfast items were coming out. No bacon, tomatoes, scrambled egg, hash browns and mushrooms on the buffet for 15 minutes. Only 1 coffee machine working, 6 people in a queue for 1 coffee.

A decent low budget option in a decent location for Manchester Centre

Value for money. 24/7 bar. Ease to get uber as location just outside but near key areas of Salford and city centre

Toilet flush hit and miss if worked properly. No cups/place in bathroom to place toothbrush/toothpaste Slightly noisy as not well insulated from outside

Good location with free parking, staff pleasant and helpful.

Room was very "tired", paint peeling off the ceiling in areas, the bathroom a bit grubby (stained grouting), carpets stained / marked throughout, TV signal intermittent - couldn't watch.

Friendly staff, ideal location

The staff were wonderful and incredibly kind and generous with our daughter. Every member of staff was friendly, chatty, welcoming, polite and smiling.

Lovely

Good location for me to visit my daughter at Salford uni. Lovely staff, clean rooms.

Only downfall was that the pillows were hard and I still haven't had my security deposit back 4 days after check out

Pleasant stay

The staff was very polite, helpful and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The location was great, 20 min walk to the centre and free parking was exactly what we needed.

There was constantly shortage of food at breakfast and only one member of staff to restock and serve which was very challenging for them. The coffee tasted like water and pancakes seemed to be a ready product warmed up in a microwave. The bathroom ceiling needs a bit of retouching.

Staff very friendly and I could not fault that, however the room was not up to expectation

The bed was comfy however there was a stain on the duvet cover which was a little off putting.

The room was unclean and now what I would have expected from a Holiday Inn after staying in several over the years. There was noticeable black dust on the window ledge and the bath tub. Stains on the duvet cover.

Dirty, unsafe live cables and slow service

Location was good, parking was good, kitchen facilities were good

The room stunk of bleach. The shower tiles were filthy, the shower curtain was dirty. The chrome grab rail in the bath was rusty and disgusting. There was a huge crack in the sink. Cracks in the bathroom floor tiles. USB in table lamp didn't work so moved tsbkevto locate plug socket only to discover live wires exposed coming from wall. Service was exceptionally slow too.

From a hygiene point of view didn’t think it was right that the chef was serving the meals in restaurant with a dirty apron on .

Chaotic and uncomfortable stay

Staff were polite. Room was clean.

When I checked in (very late in the evening) and went into my room, there was already someone in there!! Had to wait while they found an alternative room, which they then suggested might be booked to someone else but they hadn't turned up. Went to bed worrying that someone would walk in. Same staff member knocked on door just as I was going to sleep asking to come in, which I declined. They said they wanted to check I was okay with the room given it was a twin instead of the double I'd booked. Bizarre. Then I got charged for drinks which the person in my original room had had. Add to that a clattering aircon, despite me turning it off, and a rock hard pillow. Dreadful stay!!

A good hotel, though pricy for a budget place.

Room was a good size. Bed comfortable, required sofa bed already set up. Bathroom clean and roomy, plenty of towels. Car park good.

Woken up by other residents banging on doors. Breakfast buffet busy, some items ran out, some struggled to find a seat.

Very Impressed

Molly on Reception was warm and welcoming on our arrival. We arrived early, but she managed to get us into our room at 12:00hrs and gave us an upgrade due to us having Platinum status. The room was clean (although a little outdated!), but the bed was comfy, pillows great, towels fluffy and proper toilet paper! I honestly can't fault this hotel - the staff were all amazing.

Nothing really - location a little rough, but they can't be blamed for that!

We came for a medical PLAB 2 exam. Feel very safe and silent to study peacefully to prepare the exam.

Good hotel but very expensive.

Room was bright and clean. Hotel is modern and has nice facilities. Location was fine. Free parking was offered which is rare in Manchester. Shower was lovely and hot, with nice toiletries provided. Towels were fluffy and soft.

Very noisy (sounded like a herd of elephants were staying above us!) Charging port by the bed didn't work. Beds weren't the most comfortable. Room heater was very loud so our room was freezing as we couldn't sleep with it on. Room was very expensive.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and well stocked, lovely smelling toiletries. Breakfast was fabulous, great variety of pastries, continental, full English buffet, fresh juices, coffee, tea and even had chefs specials. Good location, only a short walk from the tram stop into town centre. Will be back in April for next convention

Great stop over hotel

Good communication on accessible needs. Large room near lift which easily fitted wheelchair but not specifically an accessible room as had a bath. Food huge portions and reasonable Attentive staff Easy access to Salford University

Some poor maintenance in room, which was noted by reception quickly. Hard to see entrance from one direction so had to do a circle.
