Unfortunately this hotel was just not great, granted it’s cheap wasn’t expecting luxury however, it’s absolutely filthy. Khan was kind enough to change my room after I reported the initial one they gave me was dirty and smelt really badly, thank you for that. The second room was miles better however even in the second room unfortunately there was dirt and mould on the shower head? Reported this to Khan who left without resolving it, I then asked the person after him can it be cleaned, he told me no can clean it as no cleaners were on site which fine but then offer an alternative solution? Be apologetic? He was just nothing, he didn’t care. I unfortunately could therefore not use it to have a shower and had to remove the head and use the hose like I was camping outside. Check out could not come fast enough! Do not stay here if you want a comfortable nights stay. It’s a great location very close to Salford crescent station but that’s all that’s great about it I’m afraid. Don’t be like me, trust the reviews on this place are as bad as they say!

The room reserved was unusable due to a door issue, we were given a smaller room. towels were dirty, no garbage bin, I had to ask for a bag, tv had no remote controller. One of the doors to the building had strange holes, like a hammer or bullet holes.

The exterior of the hotel creates a strong first impression; however, the interior does not reflect the same standard. It appears the refurbishment has been carried out on a limited budget, with noticeable compromises in quality. The furnishings, including quilts was thiin so I used my coat to keep me warm in the night and mattresses, feel inexpensive, and the overall finish suggests poor workmanship.
There were also some maintenance concerns. The shower door was coming apart, and the toilet area was not well presented — the toilet roll holder was rusty, and the spare rolls placed on them so had soaked up the rust or pee so gave an unclean impression. Additionally, the rooms do not have central heating, although oil heaters were provided, which was a positive.
The parking area would benefit from improved lighting, as it feels unsafe at night. It was also disappointing that there were no staff readily available in the morning to raise issues such as the broken shower door or to provide assistance.
Overall, while the building itself has great potential and looks impressive from the outside, the interior feels underinvested and lacking in care. It may be suitable for basic, short stays, particularly for solo travellers, but does not offer a comfortable or well-maintained experience.
