Very pleasant staff
Was disappointed to being charged £9 per night to park my car which wasn't mentioned at the point of booking and was an unexpected cost when arriving. On last evening when returning from work spent about 20 minutes finding a spot and was lucky to spot someone leaving

I like their on-site parking and the big hotel sign at the corner, so easy for me to get there as this was my first time to Manchester.
I would say that it was a fair hotel. It needs some renovation to the rooms. Especially the mattress as I couldn’t sleep well as it was too lumpy.

Great value, had all the basics we needed for our stay.
Location wasn’t the best, room was very small

Nothing- all good

Location was good 5min drive to Arndale centre.
Room was basic but for 1 person it was ok.
If driving you will need to pay for car parking but for £9 a day it was reasonable.
The room was small especially the bathroom. You literally can get 1 person in there. There is no space between the twin beds in a twin room. Also the pillows are very soft. Harder pillows would have been preferred. We also had a double room on the same floor and the room size was the same.

There was nothing I could like. It was a very uncomfortable hotel.
The rooms were very small, the bathroom even smaller. There was noise in the hotel corridors at all hours of the night. There was no elevator. The walls were very thin, and the sounds from all the rooms blended together. There was no mini-fridge. They didn't even provide water in the room. It would be a negative choice in terms of price and performance.

Not a lot
Poor room. Very tired. Cleaning fluid all over the bathroom and strong chemical smell.

It was a really short walk to AO Arena which is where we was going and it had shops and food places near by. We arrived early and was aloud 1 key to put our bags in (booked two rooms). The room was really basic. Im unsure how comfy the bed was as I was aching and hurting from standing for a while at a concert, but woke up with back ache.
The second room wasnt ready for the check in time ( although we arrived early and was granted a key for 1 of 2 rooms booked).

The staff was rude. They did not put a simple toothpaste.
I did not like staff`s attitude. Despite arriving late for check-in, even a few hours late, the room was not ready.

Close to the arena, clean, comfy bed
Very basic, and expensive for what it was
7.0 / 10.0
The location was great and closer to the center so I could easily get to my commitment and back. The room was also fairly comfortable
The staff was not very accommodating, they were polite nonetheless also it was faily expensive for the facilities it offered, the toilet was quite small, the room felt a bit crammed and the outdoors wasn’t really clean. Also no temperature control mechanism within the room.

Nicer than a lot of mainstream hotels I have experienced , even a fan was provided as it was summertime. Comfy bed, tv that actually works, very nice bathroom
Didn’t actually sleep because of the young woman next door letting in her friends and partying all night. Then they finally left at 6am by this point I hadn’t slept at all because of the noise. Walls are extremely thin so if you have anybody noisy next door you won’t sleep unless you’re a heavy sleeper. I would’ve slept very good if it wasn’t for them having no consideration for anybody around them. Very disappointing considering facilities and hotel room were excellent!!

It was near the Arndale centre and had its own parking
The room was so small it felt like a prison cell, even the ‘bathroom’, you couldn’t put your arms out without hitting each wall. The shower takes up majority of the bathroom, there’s not enough room to put the shower mat/towel on the floor for getting out or even stand at the sink. The carpets were so dirty that they stained my white socks and there was mould on the roof above one of the beds. The only ventilation in the room was an old school rotary fan which was bigger and louder than the TV.

good location, close enough to the centre to walk.
bed was comfortable
Upon checking in, the male on reception was very blunt and answered the phone whilst dealing with us checking in.
The room was fairly unclean, there was a lot of hair in the bathroom, the shower was dirty, the bag in the bathroom had not been changed as there was still rubbish in from the previous guests.
The shower door didn’t close properly which meant that the floor ended up soaking when trying to shower.
The walls are paper thin which meant we could hear every single bit of noise and there was a lot of screaming, shouting and banging through to early hours in the morning.
During the stay i received 10 separate emails asking if i enjoyed the stay which i thought was definitely excessive. (attached picture below of the amount of emails i received)
only x2 towels in the bedroom which are tiny towels too so not much use at all.
£12 for 24 hour parking however when booking it stages that the parking is £9 a day.
definitely wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately

Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to the arena. Parking on site.
The shower/toilet area was very compact but as it was only one night to was manageable.

Location was great. Very central. Some staff were very pleasant.
The hotel was old and paper thin walls. You could hear everything from the rooms next to you. Door lock was shabby, TV didn't initially work, and the bed was very hard with very thin pillows. My back hurt after the second night. The breakfast selection was very poor for the price charged. Car park cost a lot too and it is not included.

The rooms were quite small and bathroom was so tight as well all a bit closed in. No air con just fans and when I stayed it was roasting so wasn’t the best night sleep.

Everything was as expected, its not the first visit here, been a few times. The breakfast is very good and hot. Bar snacks available, not a huge choice but adequate and again hot. Clean room and public areas.
The only downside side was how warm the room was but that was down to the weather.

The right location for us, easy, short walk into Manchester city centre. The quiet room led to a good nights sleep.
The room was a little small and a little tired, but was functional and clean enough. It didn't impact our stay as we only needed a room to sleep in.

Good location and helpful staff! Good fan on the wall in room and parking on site.
Quite a dated hotel in need of refresh and room was quite warm. Price was good and reflected this though. Also payment process for car parking wasn’t obvious in terms of when to pay.
