Did us for the night.

Really comfortable bed, great choice of breakfast (extra cost)

Pretty dated. Asked for a double and single bed, however there were 3 singles. Staff were polite but not chatty. Poor service at bar despite being only ones in.

Very polite staff and proficient staff, lovely warm entranceway with lounge area available. Parking plentiful, easy walking distance to tram system.

Comfortable value for money hotel.

Comfortable value for money hotel. Pleasant room. Comfortable bed. Well laid out ensuite with bath/shower over. Shower was hot with good pressure. Free WiFi good. Self serve, pre ordered breakfast was substantial and plenty of choice. Reception was very helpful with transport suggestions to city. Good location for AO Arena if wanting to avoid staying in the busy city/parking charges etc. Tram station 10 min walk £2.80 one way across 2 zones or Uber £9 one way, even after midnight. Hotel easy to get to from motorway (travelling up from South), plenty of free parking.

Minor observations. Room was warm even with radiator off. Had to open window, which unfortunately resulted in being woken early 6am by two residents holding a loud conversation outside before getting into their van. (Not hotel's fault). Parts of hotel could use a freshen up. Skirting and architrave in room could use some fresh paint. Cracks/water marks ceilings in bar and breakfast rooms and holes where down lighters missing.

Nice and cosy

The layout actually disguises how spacious the room actually are. It was nice, cosy and warm which was needed from the cold outside. The room was lovely and I was able to enjoy a nice bubble bath

Friday gig night overnight stay

It was convenient for the city centre with good transport links I was delighted to be able to check in at 2.pm at no extra cost and my room was warm and comfortable with a comfy bed

From the moment we walked through the door, you could tell it was a well looked after and cared for property. The welcome from the staff was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again!

Very good and I felt very safe & secure as a lone female traveller.

Breakfast was very good, hot & plentiful. Parking is good. I was able to get into my room early which was very helpful. My room was quiet & compact - just right for 1 night for 1 person. It was my 3rd visit and I will definitely be back again

Perfect for our overnight stay. Would recommend.

We felt well looked after at Westlynne Hotel. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating when we called up on route having been delayed in traffic, and we had a very good night’s sleep in spite of our room facing a busy road. The breakfast was very good, and as someone who can’t eat diary or wheat there were lots of options. The hotel is easy to find at night/in the dark.

We thought the road noise might keep us up but it didn’t trouble us.

We were only staying for one night. Everything was adequate for our purposes.

By the time we went for breakfast at 09.30 Hrs it was not very hot. It was luke warm which was a shame as it was a lovely breakfast with eggs done to perfection. All the other facilities were fine.

The location!! This hotel was not close to the Manchester Picadilly Station which was out priority when booking. Booking.com need to review their description of the hotel location. The breakfast was look warm ~ see above. There was not hairdryer.

Fab comfy stay

Great location for us - just under 10 minute walk away from the Metrolink, really easy to locate. Also bus stop (number 59 bus) a minute away takes you into the city centre. Lovely clean rooms, really comfy beds. Room a good size - had a twin room, plenty of space to move around, had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Staff very friendly and kept us topped up with teabags, coffee etc when we ran out in the room!! Definitely recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located hotel with good facilities and offering a brilliant breakfast at a good price.

Brilliant choices for breakfast with ample options for my son who is vegetarian. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and welcoming with plenty of storage options if needed. A car is not essential as the West Lynne Hotel is only 10/15 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop at Crumpsall (yellow or green lines) into the city centre or to Bury.

We didn't find anything to disappoint us during our short stay.

Really lovely hotel

Really lovely hotel, warm, clean and comfortable. Cleaning standards are very high. Beds and pillows heavenly. No noise disturbance at night. Ample parking. Staff pleasant and friendly. Didn’t get the chance to sample the breakfast but smelt delicious! Well recommended.
