No internet, no receptionist...

Cleanliness is great, room size is big, breakfast is very good. But...

No internet on the whole floor. No one was at reception, no reply on the phone - 30 minutes of waiting until other guests helped to find another hotel to check in.

Not recommended, especially to stay with children.

The loft room is like on the photos.

In the room was smoking smell it was horrible. The floor was very dirty. Asked for blankets, and didn’t receive them.

READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING THIS HOTEL

Only one member of staff here was polite to me

This was the dirtiest hotel i have ever stayed in. In my photos you see some before and after because I cleaned it myself on arrival. There were hairs and dust everywhere, used tissues down the side of the sofa. Remnants of previous guests belongings. . The curtains DIRTY, tables DIRTY, floors DIRTY, the minimal kitchen utensils DiRTY. On the terrace many loose slabs and cigarette butts everywhere. Upstairs by the pool a bird had clearly flown into the glass, not cleaned during the entire 10 days of my stay. All the staff were rude apart from one of them. Don't be fooled by the photos on booking.com. the place is aging and dirty. the WiFi is slower than their tedious checking in process. Once they your money you are no longer a guest. €100 a night is massively overpriced. And I certainly wouldn't call it a 4 Star. Ive stayed in better 3 stars

A good value for money stay with a spacious and clean apartment.

Spacious, good air con, clean, comfortable, good terrace, pool area.

Lack of some facilities in the kitchen. Ie utensils, kettle, wine glasses, tall glasses, mugs, plug for sink, bowl to wash up in. Wardrobes there were many but no coat hangers. Breakfast good but short staffed therefore tables not cleared and food not refreshed quickly enough.

Pros and Cons of Aparthotel Abufera

Very clean and friendly staff. Made use of the kitchen. Nice big fridge.

The shower stall could have used a curtain instead of a plexiglass barrier. Water kept going on the floor

The room being accessible early

Check in in a different building. The outdoor pool was closed & It didn't state this on booking Too far away from anything. It was in a commercial area with lots of construction going on. The apartment was basic, the cooker took forever to heat anything ,no coffee machine or kettle,toaster. Settee very uncomfortable. TV in the bedroom kept coming on even when turned off. Very small balcony that you couldn't sit out on. Did the job but won't be back.

It was alright

Problems With the the sink in the shower. We changed to another room with lower standard. Which had problems with the refrigerator dropping water. So we changed to a third room and that one’s toilet was constant flushing. But the staff saved the day and we had a discount. Good staff and good air condition .

Nice clean hotel with plenty of amenities and a range of local eateries and shops.

Breakfast was satisfactory with plenty of choices and the staff were helpful. Swimming pool was good and there were plenty sun loungers. The gym was nice and air conditioned. Plenty of parking both underneath the hotel and beside it. All rooms were large and cleaned every 3 days. Although no kettle in the kitchen you can rent one from reception for a refundable deposit of €10. Excellent air conditioning whilst the Cerberus heatwave was happening.

Due to the length of our stay (10 days) we identified on a couple of occasions kids using the facilities, ie the pool and the gym, who did not have adults with them. We suspected they were local kids. On one occasion we had to advise reception as there was a risk to their safety in the gym (they looked age 8 or 9) The guy on reception swiftly dealt with this.

Very large rooms,bathroom per each bedroom, very clean. Well equipped kitchen,breakfast is very good, and there is a wide variety of food.

In restaurant where we ate breakfast most of the staff doesn't speak english at all.

Nice and easy business stop

Check in was super easy and there is free parking below the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, the wifi was reliable. Good business stop, especially with the breakfast buffet.

A Hidden Gem if you are happy to drive

The two bedroom apartment is spacious and good value. The aparthotel is generally quiet. Staff are helpful. A car is needed to get into Valencia town but it is not far. There is public transport available. It is a short drive to a good beach.
