Fraudulent behaviors not acceptable and treat guests with offensive messages

Location is near the city center

There is no windows in the rooms so you cannot have any fresh air. After booking you will receive on WhatsApp that we have to pay 150Euro as deposit and they only send this after the free cancellation period and if you choose not to pay the extra deposit you won’t get access to the room. I really don’t recommend unless you cannot find anything else near the city center.

Luke warm shower. Never got S hot shower the whole stay. Thin walls could hear every cough, sneeze, voice in the whole building. No food or drinks allowed inside your room.

I would've given a more positive review but the owner completely ruined it for us on day 2. First thing we noticed when walking into the room was an overwhelming smell of damp. Our room crossed over into the shared kitchen area so we could hear the noise from that area and the loud door slamming against the wall. We received a message apologising about the loudness from some residents in another room which did wake us up at around 6 in the morning. We were told they had left, so asked if given the issues with the noise and the strong damp smell (we tried to explain why this might be as there are no windows and the bathroom ventilation fan was very dusty and there was black mould around the shower), whether it would be possible to move to the other room if this might help. Suddenly throughout the day I receive an unhinged barrage of messages from the owner. Despite my message simply questioning the possibility of moving rooms, we were told we could leave multiple times to the point where it felt like we were being asked to leave. We had nowhere else to go so said we can't be on the streets, but these messages continued through the morning and afternoon despite limited responses from myself. I received multiple messages about how the issues I mentioned were false, how perfect the room was, and how I "booked the cheapest room in the hostel". I had no control over which room I booked; this was not advertised. The use of the word "hostel" is used here to explain the bad things away (ironically given I was told it was perfect and there are no issues), yet nowhere in the description is the word hostel used - it is described as a guesthouse. All messages were accompanied by silly emojis which just seemed passive aggressive (have seen similar comments describing this).

We loved this inner-city suburb in a well-connected city by foot, PT or bicycle!

We loved this area, with lots of interesting bars, shops, a bike rental on every corner, and a delicious surprise on our pillow on day 2! Also check out the great tapas and excellent hospitality at La Anjana!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Niña Mala! The guest house is beautifully designed, clean, modern, and full of thoughtful touches that made me feel at home. The self check-in process was smooth and convenient, and I really appreciated the responsive and friendly communication from the staff. The location is fantastic, close to great restaurants, the metro, and within walking distance of the city centre. I loved being in the Ruzafa neighborhood, which has such a cool, local vibe. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with great air conditioning and a cozy bed. The shared spaces were spotless and well equipped, especially the kitchen area, which was perfect for lounging, eating, and relaxing. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Valencia. It’s a stylish, affordable gem with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again!

The beds were comfortable, though slightly firm, but we had no trouble sleeping. There were a few minor scuff marks on the walls, which is expected with regular use. The bathroom hooks near the sink could have been placed higher to better accommodate hand towels.

Fantastic & Brandnew

I had a fantastic stay at Niña Mala! The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help with directions and recommendations. The location was perfect – close enough to walk to the main sights, but quiet at night so we could relax. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Valencia, Spain!

Perfect

Perfect short stay. I couldn’t ask for more. The instructions were very clear. The room was clean and tidy. More spacious than I thought it would be. Kitchen area had coffee and tea as well as a fridge and microwave if needed. The area is only a short 5min bike ride to the arts and science buildings and park. The old city centre is only 15min walk. To me, it was exactly what I needed.

Excellent accommodation in good area with top rated hosts

Excellent location in Russafa. Smart, stylish rooms, decent sized kitchen/dining area. Spotlessly clean. Above all, first class hosts - incredibly helpful in every way who can't be faulted.

Just one little issue - in the room at the front of the property you get the sound from the very noisy car park shutter door which can wake you early! Minor point, still recommend!

Superb place to stay

Conveniently located fifteen mins walk from xativa metro in the city centre and in trendy / cool neighbourhood. Nina mala was clean comfy & quiet. Had everything I needed. The decor is lovely and everything is brand new. The shower is superb. There is no staff so make sure you read instructions properly after you book or you cannot access the property. I didn’t! But when I arrived they got back to me instantaneously so it wasn’t an issue. Everything about this place is lovely. Even in the middle of falles festival it was quiet : peaceful. Free tea and coffee was an unexpected bonus! Didn’t use it but nice that there is an area to prepare food

Excellent location in a good neighborhood with many cafés and eateries. Close to public transport and supermarkets, inbetween the CAC and city center. New and clean facilities, exactly like in the pictures, very stylish. Our room had a big bathroom. I liked the memory foam pillows. Free coffee/tea in the common area. Friendly owners with perfect English. Self check-in. Good price/performance.

The kitchen is more of a kitchenette. Can make breakfast there or heat up food, but can't cook pasta 🙂

Niño malo

Cercano a bares y restaurantes, bonito y limpio.

1000 reglas y condiciones para estar en este lugar, desde antes de llegar yo me sentía súper estresada con todos los (NO PUEDES, NO HACER) esto. Nunca antes me hospedé en un hotel con tantas condiciones antes de llegar. MUY ESTRESANTE. Te llenan el WhatsApp de muchos mensajes previo a tu llegada, demasiada contaminación visual. 9 días más tarde me hicieron la devolución del depósito o garantía, me pareció una eternidad, a propósito hay 1000 hoteles buenos en Booking sin dejar depósito por daños. Nunca me atreví a prepararme un café en la cocina o siquiera sentarme en el salón, por temor a estropiar algo y luego me cobrasen el depósito de los 150 euros x daños. La persona encargada del WhatsApp se limita a contestar de manera cortante y te envía el link del hotel para que leas condiciones. Sinceramente el nombre del hotel lo tiene bien puesto. Le pondría "Niño malo"

Muy buena ubicación

Lo que me gustó más fue la ubicación y la atención del personal.

Hacía mucho frío en la habitación. Estaba en una que estaba al lado de un patio interior abierto y se colaba el frío por debajo de la puerta y la calefacción no llegaba a calentar toda la habitación. La cama era muy dura y si eres una persona que mide más de 1.85 los pies se te saldrán fuera. Por el resto bien, el personal amable y atento. La ubicación muy buena también, cerca de la estación de tren.

Esperienza negativa e gestione del cliente inaccettabile e non professionale.

La posizione comoda, a 10 minuti dalla piazza centrale di Valencia.

Vetro doccia troppo corto (il bagno si allaga facilmente), pareti sottili e conseguente scarsa privacy, assenza di sedie o piani d’appoggio. Problema principale il letto a castello. Abbiamo dormito regolarmente uno sopra e uno sotto per tutto il soggiorno; solo l’ultima notte, notando un’instabilità semplicemente sedendoci per togliere le scarpe, ci siamo spostati entrambi sopra per pura precauzione. Dopo il check-out la struttura ci ha contattati sostenendo che il letto inferiore fosse rotto e comunicando la trattenuta della caparra, il tutto con toni maleducati, insinuazioni prive di riscontri e totale assenza di disponibilità al confronto, nonostante l’invio di foto scattate prima della partenza (peraltro differenti da quelle fornite dalla struttura). Consiglio ai futuri ospiti di documentare sempre tutto con fotografie, prima e dopo il soggiorno, anche gli aspetti più banali o meno intuitivi (come le doghe sotto il letto). Quanto alla struttura, ricordare che “è un ostello” non esonera un host dalle responsabilità di una gestione corretta: il soggiorno è pagato, non regalato, e rispetto, professionalità ed educazione dovrebbero rappresentare la base minima del rapporto con il cliente, non un’eccezione.

10/10- La ubicación es increíble (tenéis al lado a 5 min una estación de metro: Amado Granell - Montolivet). El sitio súper limpio, valoramos mucho eso y nos encantó. Muy bien equipado y todo muy bien explicado. Muuuuuy recomendado, es un sitio muy acogedor.

Todo se veía en tan perfectas condiciones como en las fotografías, la atención del personal excelente. Nos encantó que la habitación 5 que fue la asignada tenía ventana hacia la calle, ideal para mi que en sitios muy cerrados me da como claustrofobia. Quedamos bastante satisfechos, muchas gracias.

De locatie is ok. Er zijn goede restaurants in de buurt. De badkamer is zeer goed

De ruimte is zeer klein. Je kunt met moeite uit je bed dat te dicht bij de muur staat, je maakt je partner wakker als je er uit moet klauteren. Er zijn geen ramen en de ruimte heeft een muffe geur. Eigenlijk is het een grote gesloten box. Het is niet voor een ouder publiek.

La ubicación, la cocina común bien equipada y la disponibilidad de algunos electrodomésticos como secador, plancha de la ropa, etc.

La habitación constaba de una litera que no es cómoda si se trata de personas adultas, no tenía sitio para sentarse y el armario era más bien un perchero de recibidor. Además, la habitación carecía de televisión y no cambiaban la papelera del baño (la única que había en la habitación) todos los días, por lo que estaba siempre llena. Por el día, se oía bastante ruido desde el patio interior. Finalmente, en las zonas comunes, aunque puedes dejar las maletas porque hay una cámara, realmente daría más tranquilidad dejarlas dentro de algún armario cerrado o taquilla.

Una estancia perfecta!

¡Es el mejor hostal en el que hemos estado nunca! Habitaciones impolutas, un colchón buenísimo y las almohadas, que suelen ser un desatre, también. No se oye ni una mosca y, para colmo, la dueña nos ayudó con consejos de Ruzafa. ¡Volveremos seguro y lo recomendaremos más!

Goede locatie maar zeer teleurstellend verblijf

Kamer stonk naar zweetvoeten. Ook beddengoed en handdoeken stonken enorm naar natte hond. Bij navraag bij de beheerder of er iets van geurstokjes te regelen waren werd vermeld dat het ‘onmogelijk’ was dat het stonk. Blijkbaar kunnen wij niet ruiken :) Verder is alles zo goedkoop mogelijk in elkaar gezet en is het allemaal halfbakken geregeld. Bed is matig en vies, lakens met vlekken. Haakjes voor handdoeken die loslaten, lege zeepdispensers in de douche, geen toegangscode krijgen voor aankomst en dus voor een dichte deur staan. Kortom niet aan te raden.
