Comfortable apartment with extremely helpful owner

Owner was exceptional - even picked us up and dropped us off at the station. Close to the cable station to Mt Pilatus.

Very steep path down to shops etc but there was a bus so manageable.

Perfect place to visit Lucerne and surroundings

- very clean, very comfortable, very quiet apartment, gorgeous view from the window - shops, restaurants, bus to Lucerne and Pilatus cable car nearby - last but not least, our host, Olaf, was so kind! He was very helpful to make our stay memorable

It was a little off the main centre and taking a bus was a bit confusing,also if you don’t take the bus or you don’t have a car,it’s a steep hike to the apartment from the supermarket ,also kitchen had limited amenities.

Lovely Lucerne.

Our host, Olaf, was exceptional and picked us up from the train station. He explained everything to us, e.g. transportation and shopping nearby. He also gave us a bottle of wine.The apartment was clean and cozy. The double bed is firm, and the sofa bed squeaks a bit, which disturbed each other when turning over, but it was otherwise comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. It has the most beautiful view from the apartment, and it has a small terrace to sit outside. Close to Mount Pilatus cable car.

It's a two trip bus ride into Lucerne if you don't have a car, so it's not close to the town. However we were given a travel pass so bus trips were free. Be careful about last bus times up the hill otherwise you have a steep walk. The shower is not very powerful. Could use a toaster in the kitchen. An extra armchair in the living room for more than two people would be nice.

Great and Memorable. We all enjoyed.

The host Olaf is a great host and very helpful person. He treated us very nicely. He picked us from the Luzern train station as I had 2 kids. Then whenever possible he dropped us in the train station as well, due to which we were able to catch the train at right time. Bus services are also great from here. The location view was great. We were able to see mount Pilatus from the guest House. Thank you so much Olaf for your friendly gesture.

Comfortable size apartment with a great view.

It is a decent size apartment. Exceptional view from the apartment. The host is very helpful and a delight to work with. Proximity to the Pilatus gondola is a plus.

It is not easy getting to and from the apartment to a busy bus stand. Its a serious hike including about 100 steps if you are getting here from the shopping center. You probably wont mind hiking down, but the way up is challenging.

"Cozy Apartment with Excellent Location and Wonderful Host"

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy one-bedroom apartment. The lounge area with a sofa bed was comfortable, and the fully self-contained kitchen, complete with an oven, stovetop, and microwave, made it easy to prepare meals. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the Mt. Pilatus cable car and with convenient access to public transport into Lucerne. Host Olaf was absolutely lovely, picking us up from the station upon arrival and driving us back when we left. He explains ned how everything in the apartment worked and even gave us a delicious bottle of wine . His hospitality added a personal touch to an already great experience. Highly recommend!

Apartment was clean and comfy. The location is in quiet neighbourhood and fairly close to Mount Pilatus. Mr Olaf was super helpful and in I am enjoying view Mount Pilatus from the window.

The location is very good with exellent views of pilatus mountains. And In a very quiet residential area.

The rooms were a bit cold in first evening, but definitely improved over the next day.

Summer Alpine walking

Easy to access by train from Basel Airport, then bus with the free Lucerne transport pass. Perfect as a summer Alpine walking base, with the nearby Kriens cable car available to take you part /all way up Mount Pilatus. Spacious apartment. Very much recommend the evening walk to and from the Schwyzerhusli restaurant.

Some steps up the valley side within Kriens, so good exercise if you are not using a car - or the #15 bus! - but totally worth it for the view from the table in the front garden.

Spectacular!

Everything! The house is spotless clean, the location which is near Mt. Pilatus cable car station and overlooking Mt. Pilatus, and most importantly the host is very accommodating and generous. Mr. Olaf was super helpful from the time we booked until we left. When we arrived he immediately offered us cold water to drink, explained everything about our stay, then he gave us 2 bottles of wine, and even drove us the train station for our early train ride.

Very good

The apartment is nice, well furnished and clean, with an amazing view on the Pilatus mountain and the lake of Luzern. You can enjoy the little garden outside. The position is comfortable, there are public transport and nice place where you can walk all around. The landlord is nice and gave us many advise on how to reach the main interest places. I highly recommend it! We will go back for sure.

Bodenständiges Apartment in schöner Lage

Freundlicher Gastgeber, der sehr reaktiv auf Anfragen war. Saubere Wohnung mit Parkplatz und ruhige Gegend. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht, ausser einen Geschirrspüler.

Das Wifi wurde nachts abgestellt (und normalerweise wurde dazu noch eine Gebühr verlangt) und die Wohnung verfügte über keinen Geschirrspüler. Die Beleuchtung war recht ungemütlich. Sehr teuer mit ca. 190 CHF die Nacht für die Unterkunft.
