Despite the above, stay was adequate and didn’t deter from our holiday.

Good location. Dining and lounge area nice. Breakfast was good but little more variety on fruit juice would have been nice (only 1 choice). Fresh fruit and yoghurt much appreciated.

Shower power very weak and seal not clean. Wash hand basin was in bedroom. TV very small. Towels generally very thin and bath towels small. Stairs very narrow to negotiate cases and head hazard for someone tall.

Superb stay.

We've just spent 5 nights here and enjoyed every minute. Louise is an absolute gem. Nothing is too much trouble, and she does everything possible to ensure you have a great stay. Our room was well appointed, and clean towels were provided daily. Breakfast was excellent and always hit the spot. We're definitely booking up again when we next head NW to Ullapool.

A Lovely Place in the Heart of Ullapool

The communication from Louise before we stayed was great, and we had a super welcome. The room was spacious, clean and comfy. The shower room was well equipped and large. We had a superb sleep on a lovely bed. The breakfast was freshly cooked, with good ingredients, a good choice and was plentiful. We would definitely stay again.

A nice accommodation after a day in the highlands

If you plan a trip through the highlands and therefore a stay in Ullapool give Ladysmith Guest House the chance to complete your trip perfectly. After our arrival Paulina showed us our nicely equipped and decorated bedroom with ensuite bathroom. We had a very relaxing night in a very cosy bed. The breakfast was rich and you were spoiled for choice between very delicious variants. Pauline is a perfect host. It was no problem for her that we forgot our jackets in the wardrobe. She sent them quickly to our last hotel in Edinburgh. We can strongly recommend this welcoming guest house.

Lovely guest house with great breakfast in an ideal location to explore the Scottish Highlands. The owner Pauline was very helpful with tourist information, she gave us lots of great places to visit

Great location and breakfast

We were travelling with our daughter and this was the only room that was available but room was too small for three people. Did have an extra single bed. So no privacy but was hoping there would have been a nice sitting room with maybe a tv so our daughter could go to bed earlier and have a little privacy.

Great location right in the centre of Ullapool and just a few mins walk to shops, restaurants and the harbour. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast. Overall a lovely guest house!

A short 1 night stay as we were leaving on the ferry to Lewis the next morning.Lewis

great location close to pubs, shops and the harbour yet still quiet and peaceful. A very comfortable, attractive room with a sparkling clean bathroom. Our breakfast was ample with plenty of selections and our host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

A warm welcome from Pauline McRobb. Warm, clean, comfortable room & en suite bathroom with fresh towels daily. Plenty choices at breakfast...cereals, fruit, fruit juice yogurt, hot food, toast, tea, coffee. A very short walk to the pier & ferry, local shops & restaurants. Ullapool's residents are friendly and welcoming. The scenery in the surrounding area is absolutely stunning.

No hooks to hang coats / dressing gowns so had to throw them over the chair Not shown around downstairs (briefly pointed out breakfast area) so didn’t realise there was a lounge to sit in Didn’t see Pauline again, no-one asked if stay ok, or if anything we needed Had to ask about check out, told to leave the key in door, very impersonal
