Riverside exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

Room was spotless, warm and comfortable. Bathroom in excellent order, good hot shower. Breakfast was, as promised, outstanding - plenty to eat and the very finest loal ingredients. Location was perfect, near the ferry terminal. Owner was very helpful with advice on local amenities. The price we paid represented very good value for money.

An enjoyable stay after a hard day's work

It wasn't myself who stayed at the property, I only arranged the accommodation for 2 of our employees who were travelling for work. They both commented about accommodation and how they were really happy with it.

WORTH TRYING HERE AGAIN

Warm, clean, spacious, well appointed. Reasonable price. Well worth the room rate. Excellent breakfast and would have liked more. Asked for strong coffee and that's what I got.

I need absolute quiet as I am a very light sleeper, easily disturbed. Riverside is in a quiet location so I hoped for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, the floorboards really creak and the people above moved around late at night and early in the morning, ruining my sleep. So sad. I would stay here again but probably request a top floor room.

Great little find

Really spotlessly clean, comfy and great location for our trip. Staff really helpful nothing too much trouble.only stayed one night but would have no hesitation in booking again if we were ever to be in the area. Breakfast was superb. Ate an evening meal within a five minute walk .

Very friendly welcome. Secure bike shed for our bikes. Everything was spotless and the fixtures and fittings were all very good quality. The bed was extremely comfortable. Very close to all shops, restaurants and the ferry.

The location within easy walking distance of the centre. The guest lounge with a selection of munus as there isn't an evening meal on offer. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Off-street parking was available.

On arrival everyone was given a full introduction to Riverside and where in Ullapool we could find food and drink. Free access to the leisure centre and a lovely walk along the river, to walk off the lovely, sensibly portioned breakfast, everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable

Riverside retreat — comfortable and clean

Loved our well-designed and furnished upstairs room with a palm tree waving in front of the window (not all rooms are at the front; we were lucky). The hotel is a few blocks up from the harbour and was very quiet at night. Nice breakfast. The staff were wonderfully and humorously forgiving when my partner inadvertently set off the fire alarm! Would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.
