The room was spotlessly clean and very cozy. The view from the breakfast room was amazing. Excellent value for money. It's also in a beautiful location and perfect for catching the ferry.
I wish there had been a cooked breakfast. However, I knew when I booked that that wasn't the case and for the price I paid I have no complaints.

This is a lovely place to stay when in Ullapool. The rooms are clean, comfortable and warm. I liked the bathroom products which were from local companies. The breakfast was very nice too. It’s also right in the loch side which makes for a beautiful setting and has parking. Great price too.

Room ok but shower wasn't hot.

The location is quite nice as you are directly facing the loch.
The place is under renovation so most of it had work going on which was not reflected in the price.
The restaurant was closed despite multiple messages asking us to book prior arrival so finding food in low season was tricky.
They forgot to put a cot in your room as requested and approved in advance. When we asked in person, the guy at the bar just said he "will look and see if he can find one" then ignored us and went back to chatting with the locals at the bar. I am afraid not the best customer service.
Breakfast was included but it was only cereal and cold fruit, not even a warm toast on offer so you are better off going somewhere else for it.

I would definitely recommend you to stay at the Arch Inn in Ullapool. The room was really clean and warm. We had dinner at the restaurant at the top floor and then we spent the night in the pub with fantastic live music and a very joyful atmosphere. We managed to find a parking sport right in front of the entrance.

The room was lovely with a fantastic view. The included continental breakfast was pleasant which we ate while watching a seal in the harbour.
We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant . It was convenient but great food.
The bed was a little too firm. The towels were not much bigger than hand towels and very thin. The hot water worked for a few minutes and then drizzled. The room was little cool but it warmed up during the night.

Very good value for money.
Very thin walls, could hear snoring from next room. Breakfast very basic.

The parts of the Inn / Hotel that we saw had obviously been tastefully refurbished to a high standard with good quality furniture and fittings, carpets and curtains. Our room for three (but there were only two of us) was spacious, comfortable, warm and quiet. The shower in the en suite bathroom was excellent. The staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The location is ideal; on the waterfront and only two or three minutes walk from their centre of the town and the harbour. Free parking is available directly across the road on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Separate parking for the morning ferry to Stornoway is less than 200 yards away opposite the embarkation point. The continental breakfast was very acceptable. I can thoroughly recommend the Arch Inn.
Nothing.

Great location by the waterfront. Clean sheets and linen. That’s about all the good things.
Room was tiny and walls paper thin. You can hear the neighbours talking and door slamming.
Tv doesn’t work and kettle is a fire hazard because it doesn’t auto stop when water reaches boiling. It just keeps going.
There is no reception. Guests register at the bar alongside the drinking patrons and amongst the loud bantering.

Lack of a cooked warm breakfast in Scotland in December.
The absence of this was not clear on booking.

Breakfast, location, cleanliness all good.
Staff typically a bit dour, with exception of excellent bedroom guy who was very helpful and friendly (not a Scot!).
Bedroom temperature was a bit too low for comfort.

I would have preferred a cooked breakfast option.

The room was small, but perfectly adequate for one person, and kitted out to a high standard. There was little formality booking in, I was shown the room, given the keys and an explanation of how things worked, and that was that.
Parking was very limited but I was early checking in, so got an off road space.

The room was lovely, well appointed, with lots of space, nicely decorated with a beautiful sea view. The welcome was friendly and service at breakfast was great on Saturday morning. The continental breakfast was very nice. Parking was easy outside.
The karaoke on Friday night was just below our room so an early night was difficult. Service at breakfast on Sunday wasn't very friendly.

Comfortable room with a lovely sea view. The room was warm with easily controlled heating and very good coffee and tea making facilities. Car parking was good, just in front of the hotel. A good bar and helpful staff.
All good!

Clean, comfy room and generous supplies of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk and chocolate wafers. Breakfast room was beautiful and breakfast was just perfect. Staff was friendly and attentive. I really liked the information for visitors, which was useful and comprehensive. When I arrived late Sunday night I was delighted to be in time for last orders. Will definitely return and recommend the Arch to others.
Can't think of anything to be honest.

Clean rooms , close to the ferry to Stornoway. Reasonable breakfast after a good evening meal.
On street parking was immediately out front of hotel.
Vibrant local musician played for an hour until 10 p.m.

Friendly welcome and I was shown to my room which was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed, and a wonderful view across Loch Broom. Good shower too. The continental breakfast offered a wide selection of food & drinks.
I had asked for a quiet room...which it was until the band in the bar struck up at about 9.15 that evening. Although it wasn't that late, I had been on the road since 5.30 that morning and I wanted an early night, but the bass from the band made sure that wasn't going to happen!

The staff member that booked us in was very pleasant.
Decent room.coffee and TUnnocks.
The noise. I intended an early night between 2 long drives, but the noise was so loud till gone midnight. It was like trying to sleep in the middle of a party. The noise level at weekends should be noted with.hotel information. The main thing a hotel is booked for is a night's sleep, which was not possible at this hotel. I asked at the hotel restaurant which was almost adjacent to the hotel room what time the noise might stop and was told "I know its really loud maybe midnight?"

Location and view
Toilet flush was faulty
TV was too small
Breakfast was not good

The location was close to shops, cafes, restaurants
Being right next to pub meant that noise was an issue, vans parked outside window loading/unloading, couldn’t open windows at night due to noise, strange clicking noise ( may have been door) went one for sometime every so often. Appeared that no sound proofing had been undertaken.

Fantastic location in or approve just near to the ferry terminal.
This is part of a pub and is fairly noisy until after midnight.
The breakfast is not fantastic .
Arguing openly at the back of the breakfast hall which made the residence fairly uncomfortable many of whom left. This probably is a single instance, however.

Superb accommodation, location. Clean and comfortable. Accommodated additional requirements. Brilliant pub with great atmosphere and music.
Staff were friendly.
Who to speak to when checking in was a little unclear but figured it out. No point of contact.
No cooked breakfast options
