Better than we thought it would be for the price. Restaurant staff helpful and friendly. Reception staff on arrival wasn’t very friendly (but seemed sick).
The bedrooms were a little noisy on the ground floor (from room above and hallway). Beds were on the “soft side”, which is fine for a short stay.

Functional hotel close to the harbour at a reasonable price
There was a wait to check in because the ferry had just arrived and everyone wanted to check in at once. The hotel should have extra staff ready when the ferry is due. There is no lift. Breakfast is ok but a bit industrialised; the hash browns clearly came from a supermarket freezer

Room was clean, breakfast was well presented and regulary maintained by staff
Bar staff drinking whilst servicing and talking amongst themselves. Reception staff were "cold"

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The fact that I could take my dog was so helpful.
Decor was a little dated.
