A serene countryside retreat

Beautiful setting and wonderfully kind and helpful staff. A special shoutout to Eka for making our stay so comfortable.

A bit remote if you want to base your trip on Sideman but it is right next to Besakih temple which is great.

Rest by the Mountain

Eka and her team were the most friendly and helpful hosts! She even found me a great last minute driver to my next location.The banana pancake breakfast was a treat. I traveled during off season so it was very quiet. I wanted to see the temple and it was perfect location, just a short walk up the road and I was there! The resturaunt was closed, but they made menues available for me to order from and would bring food to my porch for dining. A lovely wood room with a cozy bed that invites you to rest, AC, & hot shower. If you want relaxation and time to visit the temple and mountain this is it.

Nice view from pool side bungalow. Short walking distance to temple. Otherwise there is nothing special in village.

A lot of roosters "singing" around very early at morning. There were roosters even at hotel area in cages ! It belogs to balinece cultur, but is noisy. Breakfast is simple, not many choices. If you take omelette, it is only omelette without bread. No fruits if you not select fruits.

Get there, climb Mount Agung for a sunrise, have a wonderful rest around your hike!

Best location if you want to climb Mount Agung for the sunrise, or enjoy the ceremonies in the Besakih temple. We got the breakfast at noon when we returned from our hike which was very pleasant! I enjoyed the pool - little chilly which was great for my recovery swim after the hike :D Staff very helpful, helped us organise driver for the next day as its hard to get any in this locality. Tasty big breakfast, big pot of turkish coffee. Amazing view and pesceful location! The villas with pool view are wonderful!

The pool water level was well below the infinity level. Not a biggie though, however, it looks like June is still not a main season up there.. The only snake I saw in Bali was in the garden here - but a gardener shush him away. This could happen anywhere I guess ;-) though I’m not a fun.

The pool, the owner was very helpful. The hotel is at walking distance from the temple, amazing location!

the noise at night (but it was the biggest temple ceremony in Bali and it's close to the road - I'm sure it's not noisy the rest of the year so I wouldn't worry about it). Morning was quiet and peaceful :)

The staff were beautiful

The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. We had a great stay here and would definitely come back again. Location was great for Besakih and Mt Agung climb. The views were beautiful and very peaceful.

property is in need of maintenance. Roosters there making noise at 4am. Cat also making noises throughout the night. They need to remove those animals

The whole property described in the advertisement is nothing like it. It is run down and facilities in our room not as advertised, no fridge, no bath, smelly linen. We booked for 3 nights but left after one night. We were demanded to pay cash upfront, yet the advert says payment by credit card. Most disappointed.

On a tout aimer, chambre propre, linge ultra propre, petit déjeuner à l’heure qu’on voulait… d’en temps plus on préparait une surprise pour mon anniversaire sans que personne demande. Donc vraiment un cocon familial de vrais valeurs. Nous on aider aussi à trouver le guide pour aller au mont Agung. Rien à dire. Félicitations pour votre accueil chaleureuse.

Tres bel établissement. Les chambres sont tres confortables et tres propres. Ils fournissent quelques produits de toilette ce qui est fort apprécié. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux. La piscine est superbe et surtout le personnel est adorable, souriant et très gentils!
