Ty Mynydd Lodge Holiday Home

It was peaceful, and we have the place all by ourselves, We are couple . And we have everything we need in that unit , She even provided fruits, breads, cereals perfect for breakfast,jam, butter and yogurt. Lots of treats .We absolutely feel at home . I love the Welsh cake .There’s shop just a few minutes’ walk and a restaurant. The train station is walkable too.

Easy to find, plenty of parking and walking distance to train station for access to city centre, good selection of breakfast foods provided, friendly and helpful hosts lives in adjoining property, property is comfy, clean and bright

Thought we were getting a cooked breakfast considering the price we paid but it was £9.50 pp extra. However plenty of cereal, pastries, and bread supplied but we hardly had any of it and had to ask for t bags and sugar as tea, coffee and sugar caddies were empty. There was opened bags of coffee in the cupboard. Not high quality produce but adequate. Dressing gowns provided was a nice touch.

The overall accommodation is tired. Several maintenance issues such as, floor feels as though it’s collapsing in places under the lino, toilet seat needs tightening, tv in lounge crooked, front French doors stiff and hard to close and bedroom door doesn’t close. No window in bedroom it was stuffy, fan provided but who can sleep with a fan going. Blackout blinds would be good as it was too light. Shelf in bathroom for toiletries would be useful. Cleanliness could be better all over, toilet brush was really dirty, mugs stained. No attention to detail such a shame as host friendly.
