The hosts were amazingly responsive and helpful throughout. This is one of the best equipped places we've ever stayed in, in over 15 years of using Booking.com and Airbnb. It's really close to the city centre and to loads of places to eat, and you can catch a water taxi to Cardiff Bay from just down the road at the castle. The area is quiet and the parking is controlled by permit, so there is plenty of space, and there is also a double garage available at the rear of the property.
It wasn't a negative for us, but don't expect a huge grassy garden. There was a great little seating area big enough for 8 to sit comfortably, but nowhere for little ones to run about. We are not little and do not run about, so for us it was perfect!
