Great stay in Cardiff at conveniently located accommodation.

Location was perfect for Principality Stadium and Cardiff Castle, car parking space really useful.

Great place to stay for a family or group in Cardiff

The location was perfect: next to a green area, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby

It was difficult to park (down a narrow alley) and bring bags around the front of the property. But for people travleling with less luggage this would not be a problem.

Great apartment in a beautiful central location!

Great little apartment, in a brilliant location a short walk from the city center. We stayed for the Ireland Vs Wales game so it was really expensive given the weekend but I would receommend this place 100% as a base for a weekend in the city. The hosts were really clear with communication around check in, check out etc and gave really detailed directions, advice and tips for Cardiff.

Very lovely setting in a central location. Having a parking space and allowing pets was a big positive too.

The only thing we were missing was an oven, but that was stated in the description of the facilities provided.

Lovely building and location. Great selection of books - rare to see Ayn Rand and Terry Pratchett sharing shelf space together :D

The comms for access were a little confusing. I was using Booking.com, but then there was a separate platform for check in and 'information', and that platform was at best confusing. Lots of upsells and cross sells and additions, but really one just wants 1) code for parking and 2) code for access.. but trying to find those on an email or on that platform, with relative speed, was a bit of a nightmare. That said, I appreciate that's the platform itself, but it was a bit of a jumbled mess that added unnecessary stress.

Widely advertised as pet friendly. I'd call it reluctantly pet tolerant. Charges £10/night extra fee for dogs; which you are not warned about until after you have made the non-refundable booking. Fine for two nights, but ridiculous for a week. Cream carpets. Pale upholstery. Big anti-dog signs in the front garden. The bare minimum of kitchen equipment. Not very clean - thick dust under the bed and in the corners. Stains on bedding and living room rocking chair.

Exceptional

Great location. Walking distance to city center. Easy secure & also free on street parking available. Close to parks & local restaurants. Nice to have the space rather than just a hotel room. Reasonably priced for what you get.

If I was staying longer (only there for 2 nights), would have been nice to have an oven. 3 floors up with no lift, didn't really bother me but a consideration perhaps for some.
