The house was perfect for our family get together. Our group of 10 crossed 3 generations (age 5 to 77) and the house gave us plenty of space to sleep, relax and socialise. The new kitchen was great, with 2 dishwashers, 2 fridge freezers and 2 kettles! It was also great to have 3 showers. There was never a queue for the bathroom! The children loved the table tennis too. The apartment is conveniently located for the city centre, just over 10 mins walk along and across the river. There is a small Tesco and other shops nearby should you need supplies. We visited enjoyed exploring Cardiff city centre, the bay and of course the castle. We also made trips to St Fagans, Barry Island, Castell Coch and Caerphilly Castle. We wish we had longer as there is plenty to do in the area. The house was a great base and it is really well thought out and beautifully decorated.
It is on a Main Street, which is busy at times. It didn’t really bother us, because the house is well insulated and double glazed, but there was some fly tipping and rubbish around neighbouring properties. Not the fault of the rental owner…Sadly this seems to be a wide spread problem across many cities these days, including where we live!
