The venue, location and the responses when help was required was amazing,

The property was great value for money for a big group. There was plenty of space for the five of us, it was clean, the pool table was a fun bonus, and it was only a short walk from the city centre.

The on-site parking wasn’t available as the lock had been changed and we didn’t have the passcode, though we did find nearby street parking as it was the bank holiday weekend. One of the beds had broken slats, which we reported to the owner. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work, so we relied on 5G.

Location, 10 mins walk rom city centre. Parking, secure, and 2 mins from property. Pool table, superb evenings with grown-up kids. Large dining table, great for family meals and games. Great base for exploring castles in South Wales Well equipped kitchen. Communication from hosts was good and swift.

There were a number of issues that I raised, and the hosts responded to messages quickly, but the issues weren't fixed during our stay. Although I have messaged since and received apologies and assurance that these will be rectified for future guests. * bed collapsed (not fixed during our stay) * 2nd mattress exceptionally uncomfortable * Ashtray outside overflowing * large triangle crack in upstairs sink * downstairs bathroom shower and sink drain very slowly * plaster peeling from walls * rubbish from previous guests left outside, plus remnants of their stay: burst balloons, ribbons on cupboard doors. The hosts deployed their maintenance team, but it appears no work was carried out except for the lamp I asked for for the back room, which was appreciated. The hosts are genuine and respond quickly, but the property needs attention The £500 deposit was steep, but this was refunded within 3 days.
