Great stay in a lovely City.

This immaculate property had everything we needed for a great stay in Cardiff. Nice bathroom and kitchen. The living area is beautiful and has good light for taking selfies. Conveniently located and even had a lovely coffee shop a few meters away. I would definitely stay here again.

The main bedroom bed was uncomfortable with a dip in the middle of it. I am certain the owner will get a new bed as soon as they are aware of the issue. They were very attentive to our needs during the stay. Would still stay here again in the future.

Overall decent

Great location, beds were pretty comfy, surprised quiet for the area we were in.

The floorboards moved when you walked on them. The mattresses weren't the most comfortable, but they were clean and passable. The flat we'd rented was in desperate need of a new couch, it was awful to sit on. Quite expensive for what we got..

The flat is perfectly located. 10 min walk from the park and the city centre. It was fairly quiet to be a university area. Parking was tricky but OK when I found a space. All in, a good experience.

for 4 people was a tiny bit small BUT I knew where I was going and I knew it was going to be like this. So if you consider to book for 4, please note it will be tight on space.

Absolutely unacceptable experience! Worst in 15+ years using Booking.com

Nothing was positive here!

I have booked through Booking.com for over 15 years and never experienced anything like this. We stayed in Apartment No. 5 — or better said, we tried to. The flat was extremely dirty. There was animal hair absolutely everywhere: on the sofa, chairs, floors, and even on the kitchen hob. Dust under the bed, dirty windows, dusty floors, and poorly cleaned surfaces. Completely unacceptable hygiene standards. I am allergic to animal hair and could not stay there. When the manager finally arrived after we had been waiting inside the property for several hours, instead of apologising, she told me they are “pet friendly” and I should check before booking — even though on Booking.com it clearly states pets are NOT allowed. So which one is true? Misleading information and zero accountability. And even if the property were pet-friendly, you still cannot welcome the next guests with the previous guest’s pet hair all over the place. A little dust or the occasional hair could be understandable — but what we found was shocking and clearly not cleaned at all. To make things worse: - No apology from anyone at any point - Property booked for 2 adults + 1 teenager but no bedding was provided for the sofa bed Only two towels for three people - Key lock did not work at arrival — had to call the emergency number just to get in - Noise from neighbouring apartments — even just walking sounds were clearly heard through the walls, so don’t expect peace or privacy After seeing the conditions, we had no choice but to leave and book a hotel at 8pm, which cost us over £400 due to this situation. This ruined our stay and caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. The staff even suggested I might get only a partial refund — not acceptable. When a property forces you to leave and pay for emergency accommodation due to dirt and misleading listing details, a full refund is the minimum. I rely heavily on reviews when booking, so I feel the responsibility to warn others.

The location and cleanliness were fantastic. Really close to everything you want to see and do.

We didn't understand the parking was on the street and it's hard to get. The apartment is a bit outdated so the floors are sagging and I didn't realize I booked a different apartment than the one in the photo, which was my error.

Great location, well equipped and clean flat.

Location was brilliant - we were visiting the university which was just across the road. The flat was really easy to access, we were given a key code to use for the front door - no messing around with keys, I wish everywhere did this! Parking was easy, we gave the hosts our number plate and then we parked overnight on the road a few metres from the flat for free. Flat was really very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped.

The flat sleeps 5 (we were 3) but you need to be realistic that the living space is quite small, the sofa seats 3. There is a small tv. It is in a city and next to a road junction and part of a house of several flats - so there was a reasonable amount of noise (we come from a small village so probably notice it more than most!). I don't expect the hosts to be able to do anything about this, but it is just a point to note.

Perfect location. Well equipped property. Helpful hosts.

Great location, perfectly located for city centre, shops, parks and transport links. Hosts were able to organise parking at no additional cost (on-street parking permit for one car). Bedroom at the back of property so limited disruption from street noise. Well equipped kitchen, including stocked with tea bags and coffee pods for the coffee machine. Comfortable bed. Hosts were responsive and helpful.

Wifi a little patchy. Keyless door system involved using passcode (which wasn’t a problem) but these were very loud and the noise of all the doors from other flats opening and closing was quite loud. No soundproofing from other flats in the building. It could have been cleaner, but all the main areas were adequately clean. Some areas need a little tlc, such as counter tops but perfectly functional. The light in the hallway used a motion sensor and was very sensitive, even with all the doors closed the light would come on with a loud click even just from rolling over in bed, which was quite disruptive.

Fantastic! Lovely apartments.

Communication was fantastic! The hosts were incredibly friendly and supportive! As it was hot and we had some people sleeping in the bedroom and some on the sofabed in the living room, we found that there was only one fan in the bedroom (in each of the 4 apartments booked). We messaged asking if they had any fans and someone brought fans to each of the flats within 30 minutes! AMAZING! Very clean apartments! Excellent location and totally suitable for three elderly guests who struggle to walk as we had two ground floor apartments also!

Very much in need of maintenance. Windows not closing properly, couch not sittable, TV not working, kitchen incomplete, etcetera. Check with owners first if it's been updated or skip it.

Clean, good instructions, well equipped, good shower, comfortable bed. Having parking was really helpful. Close to the concert we were attending in Bute Park. Really enjoyed going for a run in the park in the morning

A comfortable stay in a convenient location

We were required to enter 4 numbers into the key pad on the door, but this did not work. Ended up having to ring an emergency number where a different 4 numbers were given, and we eventually gained access.

The view from the bedroom window could be much improved by having all the junk cleared away from the passageway and replacing the mess with a few potted plants

Wonderful and with helpful staff. Convenient and low price. Near museum and city Center

Staff were great and responsive. Sink, kettle, iron, oven and washing machine were all working well. There’s a hair dryer and coffee pod machine but we didn’t use them. They even gave a drying rack too! Upon my request, they gave us parking nearby till our stay end, and wifi. Bed in the room could be better, but small issue since we only use at night.

Well located flat, good for single traveller

Great location, very friendly and safe-feeling neighbourhood. Shops are located incredibly close with a coffee shop pretty much next door. Cutlery and Crockery all provided as well as soaps etc. The oven and shower worked well and there is a big fridge-freezer.

My only issue is with the heating. It got quite cold and there was no option to have the radiators on for longer periods (inbuilt system limited radiators to 2 hours before it turned off); the radiator in the living room also was either on a very low heat or didn't work. That was the only issue though! Everything else was great!

OK for the price but wouldn't go back

Convenient location near the uni and walking distance to city centre and Bute park. Apartment was reasonably priced and very clean. Free parking was prearranged and easy to find a spot nearby. Management were available to answer our questions and very helpful.

Apartment was very small and not what was expected from the photos. We were in apartment 3 and presumably the photos are of others in the same block. Once the sofa bed was out there was no room to move around and impossible to sit at the table. Furnishings and facilities were basic, a bit tired, but very clean. Beds were not comfortable. Thin walls and ceiling meant we had to listen to others talking and having s*x in the early hours. Claiming it's 'relaxing' is quite a stretch!

Disappointing stay in Cardiff.

The location was good

There was an issue entering the property, because the communicated key code lock did not work. I had to phone support and it took a while to get through. Cleaning in the flat wasn't great. Bathroom was miniscule. The worst thing was the walls of the flat. Thin like paper, you could hear anyone coming into the property, people climbing the stair and talking until late. The electric panel went out after pluggin in a hair dryer, so I can only imagine the quality of the electrical installation. Also, very concerning, the smoke/ fire alarm went out as well, as it was on the same circuit - concerning from a health and safety point of view.

Property is bang on the main road, next to University of Cardiff and walking distance to city centre

Central Location

Even though the host added the car registration to council's portal to allow us to park in certain streets, as the property is on the main road, it is difficult to get parking close to the property as it's mostly full and had to park far and walk back. For someone with a baby, parking far especially at night and having to walk back is not very practical but if you have older kids or fortunate to get parking on the same street, then it is a very central location and you can walk to City Centre, Museum...

Great location, near University

The location was awesome, just right to the Cardiff campus and that's what I wanted. Sufficient supply of life essentials, especially the kitchen wares, microwave, fridge, washer, etc. The host was quick and responsive to msgs. The check-in process was smooth.

The rooms are smaller than I expected. The beds/mattresses are quite old and very uncomfortable. I wasn't able to connect to the wifi provided. After I contacted the host I was provided with several additional options but only one worked. The one that was working was not fast either (merely just connected to internet), you can't do those such as video conferencing, streaming, etc. The host did now allow late check-out even with extra pays and no luggage storage service which could create a problem for some international travelers.

Hospitality low, unfriendly host, noisy surroundings

Close to the city center and supermarket. Also there is park nearby.

It took almost 2 hours to identify the location although I was almost in 10-20min distance since address in booling.com and the physical address was different. In addition host was very unkind with almost no guidance though calling on the phone. I t is close to the city center, however there is zebra crossing just in front of the apartment so it is quite noisy through out until morning.
