A small, quiet B and B, on a quiet residential street Marco the historic Grand Place and a 25 minute walk to the Brussels MIDI train station. The breakfasts were simple but very nice. All told, a great, quiet, comfortable place to stay!
Because the street the B & B is on is only 2blocks long, it is quiet (which is nice) but hard to find if you are exploring the area on foot and don’t have good notes on how to find your way back at the end of the day. So, take good mental notes and written ones re: intersections nearby so you don’t get lost.

The location was excellent. Within easy walking distance of all the major sites of interest and easy access to public transport. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious.
Our visit was during a heatwave and, despite the best efforts of the owner to keep the room cool, it was difficult to sleep in the heat without air conditioning. It was quite understandable that it would be difficult to install this in a building of this age. Apart from that, we had a wonderful time.

The name "Villa 36" is misleading. It is anything but a villa. It is a few rooms on top of each other with no lift.
