Location and parking was very good.

The bedroom was cold. Several old cobwebs, showing evidence of lack of cleaning. Cellar spider next to the bedside table. Cobwebs under the bedside table. Heating goes off overnight so the room was cold. The shower goes off mid flow. Not great if washing hair! The whole room needs updating and decorating. Plaster falling off the ceiling and mould next to the windows. The room requires service new bed and the bed is broken, old with a lot of paint chips. Vegetarian breakfast was beans, 2 medium tomatoes and 1 fried egg. No offer of veggie sausage or hash brown. Not value for money.

We stayed here as we had a funeral to attend the next day so it was easier to travel the night before from Devon. Lovely

Located in a lovely spot although rural. Friendly people and a good sized car park, very clean and a lovely breakfast.

The room itself was lovely but feel there was a radiator missing as it was very cold.

Very welcoming, even as I was a last minute booking they managed to get everything in place pretty quickly for me! The room was very comfortable and just the quiet, easy stop off I needed for a night

Quaint country stay

A wonderful stay! Highly recommend to anyone looking for country stay. Nothing was too much for Fin to help us with, and the breakfast was lovely. Exactly what we were looking for and more, thank you.

Well worth it even though a short visit

It was quiet had en suite, the room was called the greenhouse and was nicely decorated only met one member of staff and they were very friendly. I didn’t stay for breakfast so cannot rate the food.

Gorgeous room with an en-suite in a lovely quiet location. The property doesn’t serve dinner but I knew this in advance and the room had a lovely local guide in so this wasn’t a problem.

The mattress would benefit from a mattress topper, I could feel quite a few springs through it.

Somewhere I'd be happy to return to, with more character than your average overnight place to stay.

Breakfast was excellent, the room was fairly spacious (I was in the Shed), the bed was comfy and the shower was good. Tea and coffee making equipment was available as was a comfortable lounge if you wanted to relax outside the room. The location is easy to get to but a bit of a distance from the actual village if you wish to walk to eat/drink locally in the evening and there are no street lights or pavements in parts so driving a better option.

I didn't like being chased for a check-in time as I was en route from visiting a friend and could not give a specific time. A 2 .5hr check-in window was given and I aimed to meet that and would've rung if unable to comply.

A delightful house with character, good size room, lovely view, and plenty of wooden beams. Charming hosts and everything you could want for breakfast. When I am next in the area, this will be my first choice.

Disappointing

Parking. Breakfast.

Host wasn't very helpful and rude on initial arrival. Walked away down the stairs whilst talking, wasn't very helpful towards my very basic needs. WiFi didn't work, ended up using own mobile data. Property was cold. Internal walls had damp and discolouration of the paint in the shower room.
