Vintage hotel, popular for families and value for money

Great location, very friendly staff and value for money. The hotel has nice pools and facilities which you need for a good stay.

Overall the hotel is very outdated and is in need for some upgrades and modernization., like the rooms and pools and wellness areas. The quality of food was mediocre, compared to other 4 star hotels in the region with similar ratings. The desert buffet was nice though.

Amazing location. We stayed only for 1 night but definitely will be back again. Great service, very helpful staff. One in particular Elfat who was very professional and helpful with his suggestions. Also, the panoramic view is incredible.

relaxing family stay in the breathtaking mountains

amazing breathtaking location in the mountains, nice kids club and spa facilities, the dinner package included was great and our server Enzo was super! it was easy to communicate in English with staff and they tried to help us whenever we had any special requests.

The perfect place where to relax and enjoy traditional food

The hotel is very nice, big and the staff are kind. The swimming pool and wellness area can accommodate many people, we spent the whole afternoon relaxing there. Our room was very big with a comfortable bed and with a good view from our terrace. The quality of food we had for dinner and breakfast was great.

At breakfast there was only one cake, two or three more would be much appreciated for those who love continental breakfast. Dinner portions were a little bit too small.

Superb

The place is nice, the staff great and helpful, though it was difficult to reach the hotel by phone a few days in advance. The room was nice, the bathroom in a way integrated to the room, which is fine, but it might be a thing to consider if you really really value your bathroom privacy.

It is a family hotel, so don't get surprised by the children running around and screaming. They, I am sure, have the time of their lives (though a children-less adult might not be so enthusiastic).

Very good hotel at a great location!

We had a nice room with a big balcony. That was great because we travelled with our dog. The breakfast and diner was super. Every day new choices and enough for everybody! Great staff! So we would definately recommend it!

Superb

The location was beautiful and provides plenty of options for outdoor activities, the apartment was clean and staff very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and we appreciated enough options for our (picky eater) child. Our child also enjoyed the facilities for children and we had really great time staying there.

The design of the bathroom door in our room did not provide privacy at all. There are glass door and are not possible to close properly. Not recommended for new couples :) That was the only thing which could be improved.

Very good

The location excellent, peaceful, but with interesting things to do nearby. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Both breakfast and dinner were wonderful and the staff were all very helpful, welcoming and courteous.

The family part of the spa and pool complex was unsupervised and unclean. As a family hotel to have more than half the pool space for over 14 years but then have no limit on people or oversight of behavior in the small family pool seems like bad planning. There were far too many people in the small pool more than 30 at one point and we witnessed children urinating next to the pool, in the shower area and in the pool itself with no clean up actioned. We couldn’t use the pool for this reason. Same for children’s playroom, not hygienic so we didn’t use it at all. If you book the hotel because you want to get out in the mountains anyway shouldn’t be a problem as the rest of the hotel was wonderful.

Decent but very below expectations

Breakfast was ok. But if you like an Italian sweet breakfast you will be disappointed (one type of croissants and one type of cake only options available). Quality a bit average. Meat at dinner always very good. Some dishes at dinner unnecessarily over complicated and small portions. No one ever offers a second serving, even for children a simple pasta has to be asked, never spontaneously offered, they will give it to you at the end but be ready to ask all the time. Our room with balcony was a good size and had a separate area for an additional single bed. We had for two nights guests in the room next door and it was a nightmare, we could listen everything, like being in the room with them. Nice spa a little dated and separate swimming pool for Kids. South Tyrol Active card offered by hotel with many activities included it’s a nice touch. Free parking. Quiet location - it offers plenty of relax.

Unacceptable and a bit annoying to have to pay 3 euros for one liter of filtered water, it should be free in a 4 star hotel. Wines very good but 25/30 euros a bottle. The little snack offered in the afternoon was appalling, a few different salad leaves, stale bread, desserts from days before. To avoid. Waiters and employees in general very reserved not smiley. There should be a kettle and some cups/ glasses in the room. Communal areas of the hotel impersonal and not very welcoming.Many many children staying at the hotel but little to do for them beside the swimming pool with one water slide. It’s a family hotel only because of the high number of children present but very below expectations for the amenities offered to them.

This review is for Schneeberg Hotel where Almina rebooked us

Very pleasant check-in experience. Thoughtful and attentive staff

The Almina hotel was closed until 1st of July. So they rebooked our reservation to Schneeberg Hotel owned by the same family. The Schneeberg Hotel was a big disappointment. It is run with good intent but in a mass-production fashion: overwhelmed staff, half cleaned, crowds everywhere, massive choice of suboptimal food, etc, etc. On top of that we had a safety incident related to the room design and it took several conversations with the hotel management to get an adequate response and support. All in all, would NOT come back or recommend to anyone unless one enjoys conveyor belt experience at a hefty price.

Ottima struttura

La struttura era accogliente e lo staff gentile soprattutto perchè hanno accolto le mie richieste e sono stati molto organizzati :) Il cibo che ci hanno servito durante la merenda, cena e colazione ci sono piaciuti! Le torte servite durante la merenda erano squisite! È proprio un hotel adatto alle famiglie con bimbi piccoli in quanto c'è una sala giochi, piscina e scivolo apposta per loro.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt, bei dem man am liebsten sofort wieder zurückkommen möchte.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und wollten am liebsten länger bleiben. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Bademantel im Zimmer sogar für Kinder vorgesehen. Das Hotelpersonal war total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war mega lecker. Besonders gut war der beheizte Pool und dass es im Hotel angenehm warm war. Die Verbindung zum Skigebiet Ratschings ist einfach und unkompliziert. Ein Skizimmer ist auch vorhanden. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Struttura molto curata, zona spa, camera moderna e dotata di tutti i comfort, colazione abbondante, personale molto gentile, possibilità di parcheggiare al coperto, vicinanza impianti sciistici.

Cena non all'altezza di un 4 stelle e porzioni veramente ridicole, mi sarei aspettato un menù più tradizionale e meno "ricicli" ( stessi sughi su più sere). Costo veramente eccessivo per una brocca d'acqua micro filtrarta (3€ in mezza pensione).

Bellissimo albergo

Bellissimo hotel. È già la seconda volta che ci fermiamo in questo albergo. Il personale è molto cortese e disponibile. Ci hanno aiutato con una prenotazione che non potevamo modificare tramite booking. Il cibo buono. Le camere pulite e letti comodi. Zona piscina con scivolo perfetta per le famiglie con bambini. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente!
