The view of vipiteno fr the room was amazing , Breakfast was good , Room was very clean. Wi-Fi was very good. There is no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor so the owner helped with the luggage.

Lovely place for an overnight stop on the way to Germany.

Very pleasant guest house up the hill from Vipiteno. Great view. Good dinner (which was provided even though we hadn't booked) and breakfast. They went out of their way to help me charge my Electric Car overnight on the mains, which was very much appreciated

The location is exceptional with a fantastic view of vipiteno during breakfast and dinner. We had dinner twice and it was superb! The staff is so accomodating. We’ll definitely recommend!

Expectations exceeding

There is no way to prepare yourself for the breath taking view. It is stunning. The location and the view are heavenly. The owner is the best host we meet. By far the best value for money we experienced. Needles to say we are in love with this place.

What a lovely surprise as a 2-nights stop over!

Very clean pension! Amazing and quiet surroundings. View from the breakfast/dinner veranda is breathtaking. The owner prepared a special vegetarian menù for me every night. Food is really good and prepared with lovely attention! Shower in the bathroom was larger than usual, thus really handy and comfortable. Our dog could stay and room was spacious and had big balcony overlooking Vipiteno. In the end we were not even charged extra for the dog! I'd recommend it for sure if you happen to be around Vipiteno!

Only something to warn other guests about: there are quite some stairs, thus in case of big heavy suitcases, you need your muscles!

This pension is up a bit of a climb outside Vipiteno, which allows for great views however we could not have dinner at the pension (no ala carte menu) and had to go back into Vipiteno. We were a little uncertain on parking, however no big deal and the people, room, view and breakfast were absolutely wonderful!

Outstanding stay for overnight travellers and holiday makers

We stayed just one night because we were travelling from central Italy to Calais - the location is perfect, being just 15 minutes from the motorway, yet 5minutes from the centre of Sterzing, up a mountain road. So the view and the fresh air were wonderful for weary travellers. Our room was beautiful and spacious with an extensive balcony overlooking the valley and the town. It was also spotlessly clean. The pension is set in pretty gardens with outdoor seating for guests, where we were served drinks from the bar. We were warmly welcomed by our host and his wife, a couple who do everything to ensure the comfort of guests. It is very much a family-run hotel, small and personal. In the evening we had dinner, which was outstanding, both as to the cooking and the price - four courses for an amazing price! (Note that there is no choice of menu or time of dining). We had pork medallions, after a delicious home-made oxtail soup and the local speciality, schlutzkrapfen, a type of ravioli. To finish, a home-made ice cream with a fruit base ended the meal. Breakfast was equally excellent, with homemade pastries in addition to muesli, various bread rolls and a selection of meats and cheeses. The coffee was delicious.

In gennaio tre giorni fantastici!

La colazione super nella veranda con panorama strepitoso! Le camere calde e accoglienti, il bagno super con il bidet. II gestore molto gentile, parla bene l'italiano e ci ha offerto il noleggio degli slittini gratis. Grazie, è stata una bellissima esperienza! La strada per arrivare è stretta e ripida ma pulita, si parcheggia sotto casa.

Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Wir sind bereits zum wiederholten Male dort zur Übernachtung gewesen, es hat uns wie immer sehr gut gefallen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Lage ist optimal auf der Durchreise nach Süden. Die Anfahrt etwas anspruchsvoll, aber durchaus machbar. Sehr gutes Frühstück, es wird einem jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen, Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Wir werden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.
