Central stay in a spacious and comfortable hotel

We enjoyed our stay here, the room was very spacious and we enjoyed the view. The location was perfect, close to everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were very helpful when my son hurt himself at the beach. The kids and me loved being able to have a bath.

Disappointing

Good location in centre of town but……….

Enormous difficulty in parking and access when we arrived on Sunday as roads closed due to market and parking spaces very scarce. Hotel close when we arrived and no reception desk open. It would have been helpful to have had some parking instructions in advance and particularly the code which gives a discount as otherwise very costly. An assumption that visitors know the rules. Other staff we encountered were more helpful but in general hotel feels jaded and old fashioned. Bathroom and shower poor, towels thin and worn. We wouldn’t recommend this I’m afraid. Hotel du Port a better bet and better value.

Superb

Lovely hotel and perfect for our two night stopover with a teen son. The owners were lovely and helpful and the beds were comfy and loved the two floors so son felt he had his own space. Breakfast was excellent.

Very good place with charming atmosphere.

The staff was kind and helpful. The room was clean, comfy and large.

Just a little detail: the door of the WC doesn't give privacy. ^^ + no free parking but it's the city politic so it's the same for a lot of other hotels. You do have 45 minutes free on the parking facing the hotel. You can then park on a free parking out of the city where there is a navette which brings you in town.

Expensive But Nice

EVERYTHING! great place! The hostess did everything to make us comfortable and help us out with our laundry!

Breakfast was pretty lean. pastries, baguettes and yogurt. No meat or cheeses. No fruit or cereal. brewed coffee. Didn’t see any Espresso or Cappuccino. For this price, they could do better, but we still loved the place.

we enjoyed our stay at the town itself but if we come back we will try to find a different hotel.

the staff was nice and welcoming at breakfast, helpful if you have questions. the bathroom in the room was well renovated and clean.

1. we sent messages saying we were coming with our dog. we weren’t aware that we had to pay a fee, which is perfectly fine but would have been nice to be aware. also, we pay a fee for our dog, they know we are coming with a dog, it would have been nice to at list have a bowl of water waiting for him. 2. we had booked a room, expensive for what it was but we still took it because it looked like it had a lot of space as the double bed was supposed to be upstairs on the mezzanine. and downstairs two small beds. so we had planned to sleep upstairs and have the space downstairs which would have been nice but when we arrived the double bed was downstairs and they had put a chair in front of the stairs. so we paid a room that was not cheap and we weren’t able to enjoy it at full capacity. not nice at all. 3. when we checked out we asked to use the facilities. they said they didn’t have any and to go to the public restroom outside. what kind of hotel doesn’t offer toilets to their guests ? weird. 4. this is not very important but they could improve the look of the rooms. would make the stay more enjoyable as well.

Sympas nous avons eu en plus de la chance avec une météo clémente

L'hôtel est très bien situé en ville, ce qui en fait un excellent point de départ pour de nombreuses balades et randonnées. La décoration est simple et agréable, et les propriétaires sont vraiment très sympathiques et disponibles. Le Pdj est bien et de qualité, très copieux.

Plusieurs points nous ont déçus dans notre chambre N°3 (je ne peux pas parler des autres) : Les toilettes : L’intimité y est quasi inexistante. La porte, une simple porte de placard ajourée, c’est vraiment inconfortable, et il est évident que l’on entend ce qui s’y passe ! La ventilation : Aucune accélération notable, ce qui est problématique dans un espace aussi peu isolé. La salle de bain : La baignoire est équipée d’un pommeau de douche, mais il n’y a aucune protection contre les projections d’eau. De plus, le pommeau est placé à environ 1,75 m du fond de la baignoire, ce qui oblige à se contorsionner pour se doucher correctement. Une expérience peu pratique et désagréable. Des lits vraiment ferme, même très ferme voir trop ferme ! Aucun parking non payant, il faut prévoir un budget concéquent si la voiture reste stationnée la journée Le prix me semble trop élevé pour un 3* et si en plus il faut ajouter le stationnement... Le rapport qualité / prix devient négatif A la question: L'établissement correspondait-il à vos attentes ? En réalité l'avis est neutre, je n'avais pas connaissance des éléments (W.C et SDB) et le fait qu'il n'existe aucun stationnement vraiment très onéreux passé les 45 mn gratuites
