Was ok, but wanted more space and better WiFi. Expectations were high for the price, experiences were low.

Its location was fantastic.

Room too small, overpriced. WiFi intermittent. Expected more space, room around the bed, chairs we could use to sit on (had to put luggage on them as no room anywhere else), for 150 Euro per night. Was let down.

What a shame. Great location. But unfriendly, unloved and lacking warmth.

The location was great.

The staff were not very welcoming. The stairs and corridors were shabby and unloved. The breakfast was 19 euros each and very poor. Grey scrambled egg with too much pepper. No bacon. Other food uncovered with flies on. And parking does not exist on the premises. Only public parking throughout the town that is pricey.

We booked and paid for this hotelxin February. Arrived told that the hotel was full...we had to go to another hotel 45 minutes away. Avoid this appalling establishment.

A comfortable hotel in an idyllic location. Very convenient being able to eat in their restaurant where the food was excellent. breakfast was one of the best we have enjoyed in France.

View from a window - like in a facility description, clear view to a bay! Water boiler in a room. Parking close to the hotel. Location!

A sink was fully blocked. Impossible to use. Looks like permanent problem which nobody takes care! Water did not went out even after 12h. Very acoustic room with neighbors.

Not all of the food was good. Breakfast bread nearly stale and main course in evening very tough and so overseasoned as to be unpleasant. Staff not interested when told. Starters were very good Very small shower but lovely room.

Lovely place to visit but this hotel was definitely not worth £250 per night for DB&B.

Location is great. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice.

The room was very small. It was not possible for two people to pass at the sides of the bed and tight at the foot. The shower was just OK but the flimsy shower curtain with several hooks missing was not good. Everything looked tired and old. Dinner was included and food was OK but much better was widely available for a similar price. Wine with the meal was limited in choice and price was relatively high. Take B&B if available and eat elsewhere.

Limited menu for guests. Why? Room was at the top of 3 flights of stairs with no lift. Not very good when you have heavy luggae and health problems. The wifi did not work. Expensive for what it offered. No parking space for cars. We had to leave our campervan on a busy street. Once we could find a place to park

The hotel is value -based so don't expect full-on luxury - but it`s a great location.

We loved the location and friendly, welcoming staff. The restaurant offered good choice - good food and value for money. Our room was more than adequate and overlooked the River. The town is lovely.

The room was a bit small and so was the bathroom. But it does not pretend to be more.

We were fortunate to find a room at such short notice.

Our visit was arranged at the last minute as a quick overnight stop on the way home via the tunnel. We arrived at 22.00 pm. The room was adequate and the breakfast excellent. Unfortunately we had little time to explore the area.

The water could have been hotter. Only comfortable for one shower.

Mini break in the Baie de Somme

The room was spacious for a family of four and we appreciated the separate room for the kids. You can’t fault the location in St Valery Sur Somme, well situated in the town with many sights within walking distance. It was a great location for a mini break

The family suite is in the attic and got very hot overnight. The restaurant was acceptable but not the best we had in town. There was nothing especially to find fault with, but it felt quite expensive for a fairly basic hotel.
