Handsome hotel. We only stayed one night.
Location and decor
Bedroom temperature was set at 19 which for me was chilly.

A warm welcome from Charles.

Enjoyable thanks to staff.
Generally the location and facilities were good, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Just a few small " disappointments". Room had bath and hand shower only. No wall bracket for shower and no curtain/shower panel. Impossible not to make a small flood. Nit iur problem maybe, but curtain/panel would keep everyone happy. No sockets available in room for portable electric devices, surely a must nowadays. Found one space in adaptor beside fridge but had to crawl around to use it. Soap dispensers not good. One plunge device didn't work and basin soap not easy to use. Breakfast was good quality, but limited choice and therefore maybe overpriced at €20. No obvious gluten free recognition, though that seems to be the norm in france. My wife is coeliac and took her own bread. We didn't comment to staff, so maybe our fault. Small things and once settled in we enjoyed our stay. Maybe we were just unlucky with the room. We did ask for a move to walk in shower room but only suites available at around €120 per night additional! Would go again but would be more careful about booking.
See above.

Mutton dressed in lamb, careful with the room you're put in
The building and the grounds are very impressive. It is a good place to relax and be close to nature, and yet close enough to towns. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options.
The first room given to us was horrible: small, antiquated and very very hot with only a fan available. We chose this hotel because it had a restaurant but when we checked in we were told it wasn't open on Sundays! Very disappointing.

Great stay with friends, onsite restaurant offers the beautiful meal. Rooms ok.
The building is beautiful in the great setting, loads of parkland around, onsite parking was generous. The lounge areas, bar, restaurant were great, comfortable and looked beautiful, dinner was excellent, service attentive. The Treport town only few miles down the road, easily accessible by car.
Our room no4 was in the main building, it was spacious and decorated well enough, but felt quite dated, built on lower cost and did not reflect the same quality as the public areas. Bed was comfortable enough, new pillows are needed. Pool was more like a large Jacuzzi rather than a swimming pool.

It is not worth it.
It looks nice when you enter the property.
It was just a bad stay. I booked it as the last stop before crossing the channel, so we could recover from a long journey in the spa and have a relaxing time in the hotel. Plus having the comfort of having dinner at the hotel as well. But ALL WAS CLOSED. NO SPA and NO DINNER. Apparently they stopped this 3 months ago, they just have forgotten to mention this when I quizzed them over this. So, instead of having a relaxing day, it was a very stressful one because we were forced to look for a supermarket to get us sorted for lunch and dinner. Since we had dogs with us and the weather was great we were not in the mood of driving around the country side to find a place to eat. The room was not only dated but also badly finished. The bathroom was very basic as well dated- plus the bathroom had a terrible smell that you get from old pipes in the bathroom. The breakfast was as well disappointing with even a more disappointing coffee. I was really upset about it all since this stop was not necessary for us, but I thought it would be nice to have a relaxing spa day after the journey and get us in the right headspace before going back. So, all in all it was a complete waste of money and I was really upset that the hotel didn't not provide us with a discount based on the fact that all of their facilities were closed and failed to let us know when we booked it. After all they have our contact details.
