If I could give 100 points, I would do so without hesitation. I am a very experienced traveller, but the level of care, warmth and genuine hospitality I experienced in this hotel is something truly rare. From the very first day, I felt not like a guest, but like someone truly welcome. The atmosphere was calm, elegant and deeply human. I would like to especially thank the staff of the main restaurant for creating such a warm, almost family-like atmosphere — always attentive, kind, smiling and genuinely caring. Every dinner was not only a meal, but an experience of comfort and kindness. This stay in Lienz was unforgettable, and this hotel played a huge role in that. I will absolutely return — without a doubt.

The restaurant had outstanding food! The breakfast was exceptional - the largest array of wonderful food I’ve ever seen.

Don't take a room with parking view.

Nice garden, nice pool. Special thanks to Lenka. She was very kindly and helpfull. Good food in Pepo's bar and staff.

We had a room with view on a parking place. It was noisy, uncomfortable and this destroyed our vacation. We were interupted of souds from road, bar, reception all day. From early morning to lately night. We sad this to receptionist, but without answer. No apologize, no satisfaction. They ingnored us.

Great stay and skiing trip at Ferienhotel Moarhof in sunny Lienz!

I stayed at Hotel Moarhof on my skiing trip to Lienz and loved every second of it. Modern, cozy and super furnished hotel, amazing food and dining service, comfortable bedroom. The spa (saunas + Turkish bath) was definitely a plus, as was the skibus taking guests back and forth from the Zettersfeld gondola lift for free. Price extremely affordable given the quality of the service.

Only issue I had was that the room temperature was slightly too warm for my taste.

Fantastic overnight stay

Very welcoming staff, at check-in, in restaurant and at departure. Sorry to be only staying one night. Would have loved to try the rental bikes.

It's a short walk into town, but being a small way up the hillside means you have a fantastic view of the mountains from the balcony.

Nice place for stay

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was big, super clean and with a wonderful view to the mountains. The bed was comfortable so we could recharge for another day of skiing. The sauna was amazing with finnish, turkish, bio and infrared offered with a nice relaxing room. The breakfast included various and great selection of local food and excellent coffee.

It is a little bit out of the way, but what you lose for convenience you gain in quiet. The room was clean and spacious with a nice view. There is a sauna and pool that is available for guests. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We've enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the proximity to the city center.

The room was clean and sufficiently sized. Great view from the balcony. Decent location, a short drive or 15 Minute walk to the city center.

The salad bar could have been tastier and have a little more variety.

Single room is very, very small

Exceptionally good breakfast with a large selection of different foods. If you leave hungry, you have to blame yourself. The hotel offers a free cake in the afternoon. Though most people will be active during that time not being able to take advantage of that.

The hotel is not directly located in the centre of Lienz. However the walking distance is not very large. The single room has just barely enough space for a bed and a small desk, without a chair fitting in between those two. I had a bigger room even in my poorest time as a student.

Loved everything from the first moment Warm and smart staff, nice room, very nice external areas and facilities like as pool, garden lounge, garden solarium. Exceptional breakfast. I especially loved the extensive selection of local bread.

Just a minor note, it is a not very interesting 12-minute walk from old town / city center / restaurants (however, they’ve got a very good restaurant in house).

Exceptional stay at Moarhof in Lienz. Staff was very polite, good size room and nice balcony. Very tasty and varied food, nice restaurant room with a splendid view of the garden. Room was very clean, car parking very good.Walking distance to everything.

On my first night, the restaurant wasn't available for dining and we were invited to serve food in the hotel's bar. Social distancing was impossible to be observed, you were almost touching each other as tables were so close each other!
