exceptional staff, comfortable rooms, great location

Loved this place! First - at least during our stay - there seemed to be an all women staff and they were exceptional. So kind and helpful and gave our dog a lot of love. The breakfast had great options and got our days started well. I think we just had a 'basic' room but it was spacious and comfortable. Parking was easy and the proximity to the train station was a real plus. The pool/spa were a definite highlight!!

I did use the 'gym' and it was comfortable. If I'm going to nit-pick I think they could use some free-weights and a couple mats to make it even better.

dead straight in the centre of this lovely town, and the rooftop pool and view are just fantastic.

we picked this hotel for the pool and we absolutely loved the pool! i mean, the entire hotel is super nice, breakfast was lovely, but with two little boys who love water/pools, the rooftop pool was the absolute highlight! also super location, without question. the little tavern downstairs is also very handy!

The hotel was a little bit more expensive than I normally would pay but was worth it. I really enjoyed the view at the swimming pool and had a great meal in restaurant and all staff I met were very friendly a d happy to help would definitely stay again thanks craig 😀 ❤️

Unfortunately for Me, I was there to rest only from 9 am to 6 pm, and I will definitely return. It is the perfect hotel, near the city center and also the bahnhof, with swimming pool with a view

Everything was good except 3/4 board.

The breakfast was very good, many different meals, We liked it

On the arriving day we couldn't use 3/4 board, although we came at 3.p.m. So we lost it for the first, and also for the last day. It means, when you take 3 day board you got only two, i thing that it is not ok.

The hotel’s restaurant was always full. It was difficult to find places to eat in the evening in Lienz. We wish the hotel could have told us to reserve at its restaurant in advance.

Beautiful corner to explore the center!

The hotel is quite in the center, close to everything you need and most of turistic points. Is an old and beautiful building, adapted with elevator, renewed with pool and gym in the upper floor. The checkin was easy and the staff in the reception was really kind (all the 3 ladies we met!). The bedroom was big, lots of space to circulate, beautiful view outside the window and even if it was in the first floor and facing the street, no outside noise was heard! The breakfast was amazing, many salty and sweet options for all kind of tastes, if you ask they also prepare coffe/cappuccino (if you don't, they don't come to offer). The parking lot is outside in the street, super close and not dangerous, but you also have the option of paying 12€/day to use their subterraneus parking lot (which I highly recomend to avoid a freezing car/glasses). It's really close to the small center, just 50m if you go through a gallery, definetily well located!

The reception is open just until 10pm, you can leave and come back with no problems (they give you a tag that opens the door), but if you need a support, you can't ask help. From 4am to 5am I staid awake due to lots of noise coming from upper floors and I could do nothing... And around 6.30 noises started again, this time because of the organization for the breakfast (highly suggest you to avoid the 1st floor!!!). The lady in the breakfast restaurant was not as kind as the ones in the reception.. She look bothered if you ask something (she doesn't come to offer) and show a really unhappy face if you ask more than 1 cappuccino! There was no slippers in the bedroom, so we couldn't take advantage of the benessere zone or the pool, cause it's forbidden to enter with outside shoes and, being used to others 4stars hotels, we haven't brought ours. And also the bathroom kit includes just the minimum.. doesn't include toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, hair conditioner.

Convenient option in Lienz city center

Perfectly located in Lienz city center, easy to go out for shopping, food etc. Our room was spacious, with also a couch and a table for relaxing, the bathroom was also on the big side and featured a bathtub. Pool on top floor is quite nice, offers a nice opportunity to exercise and has a nice view of surrounding mountains. Breakfast options are good, with a nice variety of locally sourced produce.

Wellness area is quite small, we tried to use it as a couple but not enough space to also enjoy a bit of personal space (mind this, in the DACH area all saunas are the full naked type). One of the bathrobes provided with the room had some stains on it and to the subject, parts of the hotel would need a bit of love and care (doors to the rooms, hallway carpet etc.)

A pleasant visit the the Austrian Tyrol

Excellent location on the centre of town and very near the train station. Good and varied breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing swimming pool available on the top floor.

It is a bit dated althoigh everything is fully functional. The big negative is the lack of air conditioning which would have made the room more comfortable as we were staying during an unusually hot heatwave. We therefore had to keep the windows opened during the night which then meant we were disturbed by people outside until the early hours particularly on the Saturday night. The nearby river is also surprisingly noisy
