Clean, modern, excellent hotel in central Zurich

Clean and modern hotel in the centre of Zurich. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Yuni who was extremely helpful to get us checked in, parked and our devices connected. Bed large and very comfortable. Room spacious. Facilities are what you'd expect from Marriott.

Not much to dislke but the hotel could consider moving the smoking areas from immediately outside their doors. When the door open, the smoke blows inside to the dining and lounging areas and not pleasant for non-smokers.

Great modern hotel in a good location for budget-aware travelers

The location is quite good, 5 minutes walk from the Oerlikon station, which is very close to the center. A Coop supermarket is just across the road. The room was very spacious and modern (for instance, there were USB-C outlets next to the bed).

The room was a bit cold on the first day.

The hotel is very close to the train station. The breakfast was good.

Everything. This is clearly not a 4 star hotel. Have stayed in Marriott before in other cities and this was totally different. The room was not fully cleaned. We found travel tickets of the previous occupant in the cupboard. It was informed to the front desk, they suggested to just throw it away as it was not a big issue. The bathroom door was broken. Informed the front desk. They said thank you for informing, we will note down for future. Going to sleep, found a pin stuck in the bedsheet. Same response from the front desk. No offer of assistance from the staff for luggage while checking in or checking out. On one of the days of stay, we needed breakfast very early morning and asked the front desk on the previous night if it can be arranged, they noted down the menu like everything can be done. Next morning we were given couple of fruits and a water bottle. Didn't even bother to inform us so that we could have arranged food from outside. After all this, while checking out they asked "oh, you could have asked for a change of room."

So much noise all night INSIDE the hotel by some building work or something in the night and from the outside seating of the bar (well AFTER closing time) as it was used by some drinkers to hang around on a weekday and up until around 3-4 in the morning.

The room was spacious, having iron and iron stand, built in USB C, 3 mins walking to Orelikon station and 1 min away from the COOP.

The electric socket are different than any other European country but the built in USB sockets done the job.

All good, nothing to complain. The location, ambience, cleanliness, polite and attentive staff makes your stay with family as comfortable as you expect.

All good, nothing to worry. Except, additional (a bit higher) cost to pay for an omelette in the breakfast. Did not expect that high cost for a simple omelette.

Convenient and Comfortable, but Nothing Extraordinary

The tram station is conveniently located right in front of the hotel. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, it didn't feel anything more than a standard 4-star hotel experience. It’s nice but nothing exceptional—just a straightforward, simple 4-star option.

A very cool holiday

The front Team ( Matias, Lilly , Yni, Teuzin, Dewa, Andrea, . were friendly and helpful they made us feel at home. Their recommendations for the places to visit were awsome. And their assitance durring our stay. Housekeeping were fantastic as well. A warm thank you to All.

For the price I paid I would have expected a lot more from a Marriott.

The bed was comfortable and the staff were very nice

I expected a lot more for the price I paid - the hotel was not in the centre of Zurich which wasn't reflected in the price, there was limited toiletries in the bathroom, for the 2 nights I was there my towels were not changed, no milk for coffee and tea, the cups for hot drinks were paper cups, no towelling robe.

Spacious rooms, quiet location

The property is a five min walk from Oerlikon train station so easy to locate and connect. Room size was good and maintained well. The restaurant closed early on the day we arrived so we had to go out for dining. Breakfast spread is good and the staff was very active refilling the buffet and helping guests. We checked out on time but they allowed to store our luggage safely until evening as we had a night flight.

OK but could have been better

Used it as a last minute airport hotel as we missed our connecting flights & had to stay overnight. Only 10 mins by train from Zurich airport in a suburban location. Room size was good. Didn't stay for b/f as had to go back to the airport early morning.

Only one staff member available to check in. Spent 45 mins in the queue trying to check in. One of the rooms that we were given initially was unmade - it had previous guest belongings and everything was on the floor. So had to go back and request another room. Same problem while checking out - the printer wont work and the email wont come. So again spent 15 mins just waiting for the print outs or emails
