The location is good but a little far from the center.

The staff on the night of January 2nd were very rude and lazy. Another guest and I were asking the receptionist for hot water, and he rudely replied that he didn't do that and that we should wait for his colleague. We had to go look for his colleague in the kitchen, and this guy didn't want to help us either; he told us that the receptionist should help us. Very poor service from these two guys.

Ideal location if you attend the Hallenstadion

Good proximity to the airport - tram 10 or 12 directly from the airport. 10 min ride and 5 min walk to the hotel. Good for one night stay.

The receptionist tried to scam us. We were charged upon arrival. When I asked for an invoice, I was told you will receive it upon check out in the morning. Once in the room (we checked in at almost 11pm) in noticed that the amount on the receipt is greater than the one in Booking.com. In the morning there was a different receptionist, and when I asked why was the amount greater, I was told that I consumed 4 snacks (3,50 CHF each). I said we did not have even a fridge in the room. He could not answer that question. In the system on the screen he shower me 4 snacks added to my reservation. I asked to print a receipt, which deferred already, as he was trying to delete it from the system. I informed him that it will be reported to Booking.com and IBIS management. Be aware and check your receipts.
