People coming to hotel airport they are tired and are in need to get there room with a smile

My main problem was with check in . I arrived before 3pm on Sunday 24 August 2025, the reception man told me my rooms are not ready and it would take 20-30 minutes and because there is work in progress going in the hotel I waited in the lobby near by the reception area he said he will call me. After 50 minutes pass by I went to check to find another two receptionist there. One of them was putting the problem on me because I was sitting outside the reception area. I didn’t like her attitude. Where as the next day when I did the check out Ms. Imane was there and I mentioned my bad experience for checking in and she kept apologizing for my bad experience. I wonder why the check in lady didn’t apologize for her colleague mistake instead of giving me unpleasant talk.

Was under renovation which was fine. But they didn't have enough pillows or a double duvet for the kids so they had to share a single duvet. When staff were spoken to you just got i am the only one here so sorry.

The room had recently been refurbished and was very clean, well equipped and quite spacious. Location was really good, close to the airport and transport links into the city.

Walking through the renovations to get to the lift with builders drilling up tiles, along with exposed wires. I also asked for someone to come and look at the minibar, as it wasn't cold. When I went to reception by a rude and condescending male in reception that someone had been to look and it was functioning fine (I hadn't left the room and nobody had been), I was told that they were only supposed to keep items cool. I asked for the duty manager, not one on duty (???!!!!), I asked for the general manager, "not back until 10 am tomorrow" I asked his name and was told to Google it. I went one better and emailed the CEO of Accor... next morning I was offered a full refund and a free breakfast. I took them up on both, the cooked breakfast food was all cold. As we left we walked through reception and there were two coach loads (which were waiting outside) of people, with only one receptionist, it was quite shocking.

Rude staff.

Room that has been renovated was very pretty, aesthetic and lovely bathroom

Family room with sofa bed-one single duvet and one pillow for two kids. Was refused extra pillow or duvet from reception so my kids didn’t get any sleep at all. Receptionist was incredibly rude to me blaming me that the booking only had two adults but my booking.com email clearly stated 2 adults 2 children. Bed wasn’t made for kids on arrival, no extra towels and had to go down twice to get extra towels. Customer service from both afternoon and evening reception staff was shocking, eye rolls the lot! (However the lady in the morning on the desk was incredibly friendly and lovely!)

The room was great, spacious and clean, and the staff were very willing to help. It's a very convenient location for early flights! This hotel will only get better once the renovations are complete - would definitely stay again.

Location was good.

Booked the room on booking around 10.30. Got confirmation saying it was booked. Went to the reception and the lady there took money off me by card. Then walks in after her cigarette break and said sorry no rooms available we are fully booked. I said why dint the lady checked before taking payment off me. She was straight faced and only said she will refund me. She did the refund on card and lied to me saying it will come to my account straight away. Though I know it will take few working days to process a refund. And she handed over me the receipts with no sorrys or regrets for the inconvenience I went through to drive all the way to face a shut door.

Super Location and worth in a good price

Location is superb. Exactly next to tram station. Just come out and board for any location with Tram. Very close to Airport as well.

I booked for 8 nights but they give two complimentary water bottles only once on first day while check-in which I feel was unfair. Let's say if you have different clients in all 8 nights then you will place two complimentary water bottles everyday but you are not giving to two bottles per day if guest is same. I asked the room cleaning staff but they said we are instructed not to replace bottles everyday for the same guest. Thought I want to clarify that their cleaning staff is super polite and good in making the room.

Mediocre at best

It was close to a train stop which was nice.

The bathroom was terrible: the toilet is so close to the wall that your knees are almost in contact, and the shower floods the floor. No matter what I tried, the shower head would not stay in position and water runs into the floor through the hinge where the door opens. Also, no washrags in the room, which may be a cultural thing, not sure. Honestly, whoever designed the rooms should stay in one to reflect on their choices.

Convenient but needs refreshing.

Very convenient for getting into Zürich and to the airport, with a tram stop right outside.

It was very shabby and desperately in need of refurbishment, which appeared to be underway. The corridor our room was in had stained carpets and badly scratched paintwork, and even worse our sink had a leak which led to water all over the bathroom floor and through the wall to the bedroom. We don’t really use the public areas so can’t comment on those.

Stay imposed due to cancelled flights to UK. Zurich is a lovely city but very expensive!

Didn't go for breakfast at £23 per head. Polite and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms with aircon. Good location for getting to airport and town (tram just outside hotel).

Had to ask for shower gel for one room as none provided Only one room had coffee and milk provided although I paid for two rooms. One room had a damp patch in the carpet with a musty smell Rooms were dated with old TV sets. Definitely not 4 star standard. I expected more from Switzerland.
