Enjoyed it apart from the fight with the kitchen tap

The apartment was very nice overall as an environment, happy to stay there.

The water tap in the kitchen needs serious maintenance, very difficult to use, difficult to moderate flow of water. I like to read in bed, and couldn't find a sufficient light source as there was only 1 bulb aimed at the foot of the bed.

Our stay at Gachard was wonderful!

The apartment is perfect, stylishly furnished, clean, and quiet and it’s located in a lively neighborhood full of lovely cafés, restaurants, and charming local shops. It’s also close to public transport that takes you quickly to the historic center and the main museums, and within walking distance of several Art Nouveau landmarks such as the Hôtel Solvay and the Maison Horta. The host was very kind and flexible, with quick responses. We’ll definitely come back!

a short walk from Flagey, lots of restaurants nearby, the rest of Brussels is easily accessible, very cool apartment.

The TV is broken (I think) and the hairdryer gave an awful burning smell.

Perfect location and great flat

Rue Gachard is the perfect location if you want to live in Ixelles area and close to Flagey. The area has a lot of restaurants and bars. also, Chatelain is really close and within walking distance. The flat is spacious, clean and comfortable. The street is quiet at night and I coudnt hear any neighbors. Owner was very helpful since I booked the day before and arrived late. They showed up 22 at night with keys and were very helpful.

Sub-optimal stay.

The location of the property was quite good, very close to shops, public transport, main social points of interest (Chatelain, Flagey) or enjoyable walking places (Abbaye de la Cambre).

The concept of 'clean' seems to be very different among people (or the level of services is decreasing drastically in the last several years and nobody seems to care). We had to buy some cleaning products and do a quick 'hygienization' in the apt. We also bought our own towels (the provided ones were fairly unusable). We had to cover the extensible couch with some supplementary sheets to feel safe sitting there, giving the level of usage and leftover stains). Half of the appliances were not working (dishwasher and washing machine). Most probably the apt was beautiful and nicely arranged in the beginning, but it needs a big refresh from all the points of view concerning an accommodation..

The apartment was incredibly clean, well-equipped and comfortable in a great location. It has everything you might need even for a longer stay. It's furnished with a good sense of style and feels like home. Both the owner and Corinne who helped me with the check-in were really helpful and friendly.

There was a nice girl waiting for us when we arrived. Although we were late cause we got lost, she waited for us and gave directions, how to get there.

The Nicest Neighborhood in Brussels

I am a returning guest - it says it all. I like the place because of its superb, central yet quiet location, the elegant but cozy design and the flexible and communicative owner. It was good that the heating worked even outside the heating season when we experienced a few chilly nights.

For longer stays you have to consider that there is no washing machine in the apartment - but there is a good laundry just round the corner. It was surprising that each time I stayed in the apartment there was a light or two out of order. Other than that there is nothing much to criticize.

Elegant location, chic design

Excellent location in Brussels, chic neighborhood, close to some of the most Bruxelloise hotspots (the Flagey lakes, the Chatelain bars and restos, the Bois de la Cambre park, etc). Impressive and flamboyant design, high class furniture and fittings all over. Nice view on the (neighbor's) garden. The bathroom area is a bit quirky (in the right Belgian way) with moving walls, hidden shelves and tricky water taps, but everything is well thought-out and intuitive. Someone criticized the bed earlier: I can only say that this IS a very comfortable bed (as of June 2021). There are some extras included, some of them are just cool, e.g. umbrellas (much needed in the often rainy Brussels climate), a special bag to carry bottles and even an excellent Ibanez acoustic guitar (all tuned up).

Nothing serious, only some nitpicking. Some of the many lightbulbs did not work. There were a few glasses in the cupboard, but no beer or wine glasses. The light in the hall in front of the apartment was a slow-ingnition neon: definitely not the right choice for a windowless cavern - it took several seconds for the light to turn on in the complete darkness. There is no full size mirror in the apartment.

Muy buen sitio y estancia

Esta muy bien. Limpio y cómodo y relativamente cerca del centro.

bueno, tuvimos que abonar un poco más por llegar fuera de la hora normal del check in ... aunque la verdad, es que puedo entenderlo. ...si cambia los grifos. y llega a funcionar la lavadora y lavavajillas... la verdad es que no pasaria nada. aunque, en el anuncio ya ponía que no iban.

Tout n'était que luxe, calme et volupté...

La situation géographie on ne peut plus idéale. L'appartement sis à quelques minutes à pied de la place Flagey offre tout le confort et les facilités nécessaires pour un séjour travail mais qui permet aussi la détente dans la commune d'Ixelles. Les restaurants , les boutiques, les bars à proximité, soit à pied, soit en bus (38, 59 et 71) ou le tram 81 et pour ce rendre au centre ville.

Le plaisir d'un tel séjour ne saurait se laisser ternir par des exigeances trop inaccessibles. Rien n'est plus triste et démoralisant que l'insatisfaction. La note et l'impression laissées restent majoritairement positives.

Muy bien a pesar del colchón

La casa es tal como aparece en las fotos, bastante grande, moderna y bien decorada. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para la estancia. Está muy cerca de la plaza Flagey y el bus 71 te deja en la Grand Place en unos 20-25 minutos.

El colchón de la cama era muy incómodo, estaba hundido por el centro (era sobrecolchon encima del colchon principal). Aunque hay lavavajillas y lavadora, no está permitido usarlas.
