Fantastic large apartment in a great location and wonderful staff!

This was our second time staying here so right there says that it’s a great place. Huge apartment in a convenient location. The staff were fantastic / even got into a restaurant in which it’s challenging to get a table (place doesn’t take bookings). We’ll stay here again!

Unfortunately, it was very cold due to the radiators not working. We were supplied two space heaters so that helped.

Pleasant but cold.

It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent. There was adequate cooking supplies. The location was lovely and very peaceful.

There was no central heating. The first night we were very cold even though we used the electric heaters provided, only one of them was decent. I messaged the number provided and asked if there was a thermostat - the response was that there was heaters but they would go into the property to look into it. We were out for most of the afternoon and when we came back the heaters had been plugged in and left unattended with our belongings in the house. Whilst this may not be an issue for some, this made us feel quite uncomfortable as we are quite fire safety conscious. As only one of the heaters was decent we had to move it between rooms which was annoying. There was also a bit of a musty smell to the apartment. We would like a partial refund as the place was advertised with central heating at time of booking.

Comfortable bed and apartment. Responsive host who did her best to help within the circumstances. Heater and washing machine rectified the following day.

The wall mounted heaters and washing machine were not working on the first night. Host put portable heaters around, which helped but wasn't the same. Couldn't do proper washing on 1st night which was a bummer cos this was my only self-catering accommodation for my holiday, and I needed to do laundry badly.

Comfortable and efficiently equipped for our needs.

The bed was extremely comfortable. The area around the place beautiful, charming and pastoral, though not far from town. We enjoyed having space in both the bedroom and living room, the bathroom was really big so that we could hang laundry to dry and it was important that we had access to a washer and dryer and they supplied a generous amount of laundry pods and toilet paper. The kitchen was nicely equipped for some self-catered cooking needs and a bottle of wine was left for us which was a nice perk.

Communication was wild - we got plenty of automated messages from the management company throughout our stay yet I sent in messages 3 times to the host that all went unanswered. No communication on my actual questions - just automated messages saying the same things at clearly pre-scheduled times. I even tried calling once and got now response. Luckily we ran into the cleaning lady on our last day so we could get the answers we didn't already suss out for ourselves from her, for example, there were instructions in the place to take out the recycling yet NO indication where to take it to. We never would have found the bins if we hadn't run into her - she was super helpful and friendly though. Also, the place is overall charming enough but older and Skye is damp so temper expectations - so the first day they clearly hosed it down in air freshener that was a bit much for my sinuses, honestly, but by day 2 and 3, the musty smell of older carpet had come through. Overall the place is lovely but it was also by far the most expensive place we stayed at during our 3 week trip, but I guess that's Skye pricing, though I was surprised by the utter lack of response to my multiple communications.

Good location and facilities with room for improvement.

Location was very quiet. The facilities were good. The property was very comfortable.

I wasn't impressed by the key being left inside an open apartment. It required a phone call to the managing agent to find it. I reported problems with a damp floor adjacent to the washing machine and the front door, lights globes blown over the cooktop, making cleaning difficult which the agent reluctantly sent a maintenance person to check. There was inadequate cutlery. In a property of this quality I expected a coffee maker not instant coffee or cafetiere requiring me to buy ground coffee.

Ideal place to stay on the Isle of Skye.

We were there in April. Great location, overlooking fields with sheep - very peaceful and not far from Portree. Facilities were perfect and the kitchen well stocked with implements and crockery. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was impressively large. The chilled wine on arrival was a lovely touch. I enjoyed playing the piano during the stay. Music books supplied. Would love to stay there again.

There was some confusion about information from the agent, but this was quickly resolved.

The property was in a pretty setting, was clean, and very comfortable. It was a perfect spot to centralize and explore Skye. The hosts left a bottle of wine and glasses out for our welcome, a nice touch. The bed and furniture were comfortable

Location is Perfect and Property is Exceptional

We stayed at 8 different places during our travels thru Scotland and this was my favorite! It's close enough to Portree but far enough away from the hustle, bustle. The property is very comfortable and everything that you need and enough room to spread out. The gardens are absolutely amazing and it's such a welcoming, lovely place to return to after a day of sightseeing. I highly, highly recommend this property.

The environment and the overall apartment is clean, homey, spacious, quite and relax. Especially the bed is soft enough but also with firm support, excellent stay and fully recharge.

The location is a bit tricky especially in low season because there's almost no public transport to the city centre.

We had a wonderful stay at Dalzie. It was warm and comfortable. Great to come back to after wet days. Big bathroom. Good lighting, comfy bed and sofas. Well equipped kitchen. Complimentary bottle of wine. Plenty of space for clothes. Lobby for wet boots and kit. Some of the kitchen cupboards were for tall people!
