The accommodation provides all what it promises. A historic well kept place to stay. Not luxurious but greatly authentic.

The place is simply beautiful, every single detail feels intentional and beautiful. The futons were very comfortable, the heated table in the living room space was a lovely addition for a chilly evening. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer and spend more time in this beautiful place. Can’t recommend it enough.

- There was no free breakfast
- For the price of 50,000 Yen (US$385 / S$520) per night, it was not worth it. Good 4 star hotels are available for US$150 to 200 per night in Kyoto
