Great break and we’ll be happy to repeat it

Lovely welcome and breakfast. Everything was clean. Lots of great information and suggestions on what to do in the area. Paola was also very helpful with where to go and eat.

Room big, great style and design, beautiful bathroom and shower, warm room in winter and super clean, great staff. All good! Loved it!

A totally unexpected oasis in an urban landscape

We stopped here enroute to Tuscany, and for that the location was really good - close to Piacenza and the motorway, and a true oasis hidden from the industrial area nearby. The complex is beautifully and lovingly renovated. The family has created a wonderful courtyard, full of character, with an outside seating area for each apartment and a huge vaulted roof where you can dine dry if it rains. There is also a huge garden behind the main building with seating areas and lots of mature trees. We were fortunate to get the last available apartment, which - while small and functional - was tastefully decorated and all we needed for one night. Mario delivered our breakfast to the door in the pouring rain. Thank you! If only staying one night, Piecenza is worth a visit before arriving at the house, and then if the weather is good, order your meal from the pizzeria Paula recommends and enjoy your delightful surroundings!

Great stop in a working Agriturismo farm.

Arrived extremly late due to a terrible multiple pile up closing the motorway for many hours. Excellent communication with hostess Paola, who was very accommodating and provided access including a video of how to find the room when I arrived after midnight. Ample car parking. My Doberman was also very welcome, place is well away from the main road, so safe for pets, provided they are sociable with the resident dogs. Great and individualised breakfast. Made to feel very welcome. Would be happy to stay again and recommend

A charming agriturismo with authentic farming spirit and warm-hearted hosts.

Corte la Volta is a truly charming agriturismo with exceptionally kind hosts, set right in the middle of the fields. They are genuinely engaged in farming, and the accommodation itself consists of former farm buildings. It’s very interesting, exactly as described and just as it looks in the photos. The hosts are wonderfully warm and welcoming.

Lovely hosts, a beautiful surrounding and a real feeling of warmth and welcome. The breakfast options were wonderful and all in all a great place to stop off away from the hubbub of the town. The rooms are clean, comfortable and practical and it was very quiet at night.

A great stay at a nice family hotel close to Piacenza.

A very good "agriturismo" hotel located in a quiet and peaceful area outside Piacenza. Easy to reach from the highway. Spacious and clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful hosts who really make you feel like home. Excellent breakfast, which the hosts bring to your room in the morning. We travelled by car so the private parking was much appreciated.

A lovely surprise

We loved the atmosphere of the old Italian farmhouse. We were welcomed warmly by Paula, who was most helpful. A very cold night when we arrived but the room was very warm, with a comfortable bed. Our breakfast was exceptional with homemade produce, including homemade bread . We will certainly return. Hopefully to also enjoy the beautiful garden.

We just love love love this place... Were here already 4 times. Our lovely stop in Italy, close to Piacenza. Splendid breakfast, amazing humans, lovely dog friends :D Hopefully next year we are back again.

Lovely!

Breakfast was very good, the personnel extremely friendly and kind, because we had some particular request for the time of breakfast due to our duties of the day that has been fulfilled by the owner, and I liked the location so much!

The access road is very narrow for the last km, it should be better organized with some exchange areas, in case of traffic.

Our stay was too short! We would have loved to spend the evening in Corte La Volte

We arrived very late, after a nightmare journey through Switzerland, but the owner was very welcoming and we were able to have some drinks. The room was great and we slept very well and the choice of where to have your breakfast was wonderful as was the breakfast itself which was really fresh and made from local produce. We will be trying to return for a night on our way home in October.

Exceptional

Corte la Volta is a beautiful house outside Piacenza. Paola and her husband are extremely kind and welcoming, they have organized everything so well, that you feel at home immediately. We arrived late in the evening and could eat our picnic outside in a beautiful courtyard, wonderfully decorated and fresh. Paola gave us all the information we needed. The place is amazing and so practical for travelers. Breakfast was delicious.

Great place with welcoming hosts at a perfect location!

Beautiful place with a very friendly atmoshpere and a welcoming host family. Plenty of parking places, nice clean room with big bathroom, comfortable bed and wifi. Delicious breakfast prepared by the smiling owners is the cherry on top :) We (2 adults with one dog) stayed only for one night during our travel to Spain so the location was also perfect - close to the highway. We are planning on returning here in the future. Highly recommended place!

Wonderful stay with extraordinarily welcoming hosts!

The owners and hosts are extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. The hotel (farm) is beautiful. We stayed at a roomy and modern apartment in the old farm house with a kitchen. The breakfast was outstanding - local, high quality products, quick and friendly service. Also a great location just a short drive outside of Piacenza, but still out in the quiet. Best place we stayed at in a long time - will definitively come back for a longer stay!

Gorgeous property with lovely staff and a delicious breakfast. Vegetables from the farm were offered for free, which was a nice touch. Apartment had everything we needed.

Tranquility set in a beautifully peaceful location.

It wasn't the easiest place to find, but once we did, wow! Set in stunning countryside, the buildings were most impressive in an Italian sort of way. Beautifully laid out, this is a working arable farm with the former farmworkers block immaculately transformed into the letting rooms. Our room, No:7 could not be faulted although the provision of a small refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities would have been welcome, although there was a communal fridge in the 'service area' barn. Our preordered breakfast was excellent, served outside by the hostess's charming son. The hostess, Paula, could not have been more accommodating and obliging. We shall certainly be making a return visit

The most AMAZING place to stay! From the beautiful rooms overlooking the rural landscape to having a delicious breakfast with homemade bread and jams in the courtyard with the sun shining, this is the place you want to stay at for a true Italian home experience. Paola and Mario are the most wonderful hosts who I feel are now like family. Great location not too far from the autostrada and 10 minutes drive to Centre of town. Thank you so so much Paola and Mario for a memorable stay, I hope to be back very soon!

Agriturismo Corte La Volta is a very beautiful farmhouse just near the Piacenza town, but far enough away to have enough peace and silence. The entire property have a old Italian spirit, with nice central house and additional objects around. We stayed for one night but it's great to visit for few days and enjoy. The host, Paula, is a great and friendly. She welcomed us and it makes us feel just like home. They have a few dogs, which are super nice and made our morning very beautiful. We reccomend to everyone to visit Corte La Volta.
