Good value for money

The parking space is just outside the apartment, no need to carry the luggage at all. The apartment is a bit small but the sofa bed is large and comfortable. Check in instructions are clear.

Comfortable and convenient for a one night stopover

The apartment was ideally located for a stopover night on our way back to Calais from the Vendée. Very handy indeed to have a designated parking space in front of the property. Our two young children shared the double bed in the bedroom, while the two of us slept on the pull out sofa bed in the living room, which was a good size and surprisingly comfortable. The kids loved the novelty of watching one of their programmes on the enormous television in their room! We did very little catering in the apartment aside from a basic breakfast, but found the kitchen to be well equipped. The proximity of some botanical gardens was a nice surprise on arrival. It was a lovely place to have a walk and a play after a long day cooped up in the car. Well worth a visit.

The security deposit of 500 euros is extremely steep. A hold was placed on that amount of money in our account for a full 7 days, which caused us financial difficulty after an expensive holiday. We feel a deposit of 100 euros, held for at most 48 hours, would be much more reasonable. Also worth noting that despite arriving early on a Saturday evening, we found most restaurants in the neighbourhood to be closed. We didn't feel like trekking into the centre of town with two young children after a long day's drive, nor did we want to self cater having just done that for the previous two weeks. Fortunately we were able to find a sit down meal in a local kebab house, El Jasmin 2. Not quite the traditional little bistro we'd envisaged, but we all enjoyed the food.

Great location for us to walk into the city of Rouen from whilst leaving the car behind secured gates and safe. We managed to get access slighter earlier as we arrived before our ETA and this was really appreciated. Drive into the gate and parking is tight but easily done with some guidance

I loved because host had everything in the kitchen- coffee, sugar, vinegar, salt, milk in powder. The location is great!! Shower is perfect. And the possibility to sit outside - superb.

The only thing that we missed was a better matress.

A great find with plenty of space for a family of 4 (kids 10 and 8). Much more spacious than a hotel room and much better value for money. Parking just outside the apartment. 10 minute walk to some places to eat and 30 minutes to the middle of Rouen. I would definitely recommend. We adults slept on the sofa bed (so we could stay up after kids had gone to bed) and it was surprisingly comfy!

Comfortable well equipped apartment in great location

Comfortable apartment which is modern and very well equipped. it was very clean. Communication from the owners was really quick and helpful. Bus stop on the road, regular service which takes 10 minutes to the centre. Safe parking behind a locked entrance door.

Only issue was that the air conditioning was not a refrigerated unit, and the apartment was still very hot, although temperatures were above 30 degrees C

Excellent apartment for a short stay in lovely Rouen!

Very clean and well presented. Helpful touches like complimentary pain au chocolat great if you’re only in town for a short time. Excellent communication from the hosts on arrival. Parking was also a bonus and particularly for our apartment as we were able to park right outside the front door. Great little find!

A really comfortable, great value overnight stay.

This was our second stay at this property and it surpassed our last stay. The whole appartment was immaculate with a really comfortable bed, wonderful shower and thoughtful touches (the coffee machine/pods and teas). The hosts have been very responsive and quick to answer any questions or queries which was really appreciated. After our previous comments, they provided a brand new travel cot, which was needed, and they responded to this so quickly - it was a super night’s sleep for our baby daughter. There is parking outside the appartment which is so handy too. The park/gardens just down the road are a must visit..the highlight of the neighbourhood. We would love to return if we ever pass through Rouen again.

A comfortable one night stop.

Overall, we had a really pleasant stay and are looking forward to returning next week on our journey back home. We really appreciated you providing a cot for our daughter and also for helping us unlock the door to the parking area, as well as providing a parking space! The appartment was so well thought out and the space had been maximised well - it was very comfortable :) We also love all your eco efforts and the decor inside is lovely too.

The travel cot mattress could do with replacing now - it is quite stained. There were also ants in the kitchen when we woke up in the morning (please note we had not left any food out thank goodness!) but they were crawling near the door frame and on the island table where the coffee machine is. It was also very noisy from upstairs when we were trying to sleep (we know you can’t help this but just for your information). There was also no breakfast provided which I thought there would have been as we usually receive this when booking via this website/others at similar accomodation.

Smelled like Smoke but convenient location

Convenient USB ports so didn’t have to worry about a converter. Public transportation was free and we were near a metro stop. Free parking was great and gated. The guy who met us there was very nice.

The parking place, the modern bathroom, and breakfast snacks. Furthermore, the instructions describing how to get the keys were very clear.

The TV set in the living room did not work for us (perhaps we did not understand the instructions though).

Centraal gelegen, auto stond veilig. Accomodatie had alle voorzieningen die we nodig hadden. Fijn dat er ook een kinderstoel aanwezig was.

Binnenkomst langs drukke weg met auto was een opgave, zeker met een gezinsauto bij onbekende plek. De uitgebreide handleiding hadden we wel nodig. Daarnaast wat het passen en meten om het kinderbedje goed op z'n plek te krijgen.

Geweldige uitvalsbasis om Rouen te beleven.

Het was erg fijn dat we onze auto met fietsendrager, veilig achter een hek konden parkeren. Ook de accommodatie voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Prima voor een tussenstop en bezoek aan Rouen. Je zit op ca. 30 min. lopen van de historische binnenstad. Ideaal gelegen dus.

Het tweepersoonsbed vonden wij wat aan de smalle kant. Maar dat is echt te overzien.

Der Besitzer vom Appartement hat mit viel Liebe zum Detail die Wohnung eingerichtet. Für Fahrradfahrer auf der Route „La Seine a Velo“ sehr günstig gelegen, da direkt an der Route. Fahrräder können im abgeschlossenen Innenhof sicher geparkt werden.

Un logement agréable, bien pensé, bien déco et bien équipé !

Logement très bien équipé et très bien décoré. Il est très bien aménagé mais pas si facile à trouver. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas réussit à ouvrir certaines pièces jointes des nombreux mails reçus. Dommage. La communication est donc peut-être un peu trop dense. Le système de boîte à clés est pratique. Le parking privatif est très bien et securisant. C'était un très bon séjour. ! Merci !
