We call it the false commercial or advertising. In the booking there are 4 stars with decent pictures, yet in the toolo they don't change your sheets or towels, or even take out the garbage. More over it is your responsibility to take out the trash before you leave.

Great value for price

It's a student dormitory - so it's basic. But we loved it because it is super clean and has everything u need. The view was splendid and the staff was very friendly. Great breakfast and the bed was comfortable.

The heaters in the room did not work - although it wasn't too cold. The free laundry was great but the machines were a bit old and dirty.

Nice tidy hotel

Spacious breakfast room, extensive continental selection. My room had a quiet fridge. TV was easy to operate, no wading through smart menu clutter.

Some tables in the breakfast room had salt and pepper, but most did not. My room was quite hot despite the radiator being at its lowest setting, the only thing I could do to lower the temperature was to keep the window open, and that is not optimal because it can get quite windy and there is some street noise.

Really friendly staff at the recption and at breakfast! Clean. Ok value as I got the room on a discount.

How did they get 8.4 avg review? Yes my room was cheap but so basic and felt like I am in a hostel. Ok value for money but I would not pay the normal rate of 148€ and rather go to a hotel. Parking was supposed to be included but they only have few spaces so had to park in the street (which is free Sat - Sun). Breakfast was ok but no bacon. What breakfast does not have bacon??

The perfect place to stay in Helsinki at a good rate

The two bedroom apartment was perfect for us as a family of 4 adults because it’s only a 3 minute walk to the tram, so getting around the city was no problem. It’s had kitchen facilities and very comfortable beds. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with a large selection of hot and cold choices. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again if I returned to Helsinki

Quiet area with good public transport route.

Nice quiet location, about a 20 minute walk to the centre of helsinki with a tram stop just outside the building . The reception staff were very good and helpful. The breakfast was very good .

Modern Comfortable Hotel

The hotel is not centrally located, but easily accessible by tram and bus. There is a fully equipped kitchen and an iron room on the floor. The staff was very nice and friendly. Good breakfast.

Wi-Fi did not work all four days I was there. AC or at least a small fan would be nice - it was a little hot to sleep.

Would definitely come back again

It was very confortable ! You can enjoy everything: terrace, sauna, good location, breakfast,... The room is convenient, just the right size and bathroom is super clean. The staff is adorable !

The only downside would be the bedsheets: there were hairs on the bedsheets, the conforter and mattress are yellow from use. It would be good to change them.

One of the best place to stay in Helsinki! The hotel has a unique architecture

The hotel is not far from the city center. 20-30min walk to the main train station. I really liked the Töölö district. It's very quiet, clean, safe and local. City center is too touristic in my opinion. The breakfast as buffet was enough. It was in other tower but there is roofed or underground connection between buildings.

The lamp in daily side of the room was not functioning. Also close to bed. I reported the issue and it was fixed.

A lovely place over the rooftops

We wanted to meet family living in the Helsinki area and the beautiful little penthouse apartment with fantastic unobstructed wiews over the city and a practical little kitchen area was a perfect place for a little get-together. We could even borrow a high chair for the 3-year-old from the breakfast room.

The bathroom is rather small and there is only a shower curtain there so some water will end up on the floor outside the shower area. I would have appreciated a dedicated extra cloth of some sort to wipe it up.

The place gives what you paid for it, it’s very cheap. Tram and bus stops make the location convenient.

Stay here whener u visit Helsinki. The breakfast buffet is the BEST in North Pole Area.

Loved everything—except there was NO electric kettle in the room! So, I had to zombie-walk through the night to the shared kitchen just to boil water for my tea/coffee. And to make it worse, I had to pass by this painting right by the kitchen entrance. The beautiful but seriously sad and stressful-looking lady in it kept staring at me the whole time I was there. Honestly, it was kinda freaky 🤪😅

Enjoyable stay and would book again.

Stayed with my parents and this worked out to be much nicer than two separate hotel rooms (we had an apartment with two bedrooms). We were able to share the living room and kitchen etc which was lovely. Very close to a tram stop and a well stocked supermarket as well as the sea (and a beach!). Yes it’s no frills, but that is reflected in the price. Place has everything you need and the kitchen is well stocked. Breakfast was brilliant and fills you up for the morning.

It isn’t bang in the centre and it is no frills. We did not mind but reading some other reviews it appears people did not take note.

Worth the price and recommended

Pros: •Super friendly and helpful female staff at the front office Cons: •Need tram ride from the Central Station (still walkable but takes almost half an hour) •Electricity sockets are strangely located near the floor. Therefore, it would be difficult if the guest doesn't have long enough cable to charge their electronic devices. (The hotel needs to provide extention cable at every room) •The hallways are a bit eerily quiet at night •Hallway main entrance doors are type of door that easily makes loud slam (noise concern at night)

Pleasant stay in quiet part of town

This property is in a quiet part of the city but there are some restaurants and a tram stop nearby. As this is student accommodation, there are a few rules you have to abide by but as a bonus each floor has a common room and kitchen with working fridge. The breakfast was OK.

Dated but quiet

Staff and breakfast were lovely, room was quiet and sheets felt nice and clean, beds were comfy and we had a very good sleep. Location was good and possibility to book an undercover parking was nice too.

Dated, looks like nothing has been updated for 25 years, I was booking in a rush and felt like a photo with tall windows was very misleading, I was expecting something more modern and hotel-like. Very authentic basic Finnish style apartment though.

We very love it!!! the room was surprisingly spacious and clean. there were many closets and a large bed, plus a couch. there were dark curtains in front of the windows, plus very nice sliding doors. the kitchen had everything. definitely recommend for families with children!!

The place is a little far from the city center so you have to take a bus or tram to get there. The staffs are nice and helpful. The room I got is clean, unfortunately there is no shampoo provided so I had to buy at the supermarket near there. The breakfast is nice and I love the sauna!

The room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast for myself was limited but my husband enjoyed the breakfast. Excellent location.

No mat to step on for coming out of the shower. It was not easy to dry the pools of water on the floor after the shower.
