excellent location, great buffet breakfast

- Buffet breakfast is excellent. Several types of cold meat, cheese, eggs, olives, vegetables, fruits, soft drinks, etc. - Heating in the room works very well. - Location is excellent, in the walking promenade. - Kettle, tea, coffee and sugar are provided. - Storage of bags after check out is available.

Water in the shower is not hot, only warm.

A good choice

I’m very pleased I chose this hotel for my visit. Reception staff was very efficient, especially Maya, who is excellent, and well worth being head-hunted. The large room had a good view, and a big bed with very comfy mattress.

Room cleaning was a bit erratic, (eg. only half the bed was made up…) and only once did the tea and coffee get replaced.

Very nice hotel in central Skopje

Being right in the rather touristy centre we had some concern that it might be too 'boring', but it is a lovely hotel with very nice staff, a short walk away from kst things and next to the Mother Teresa museum.

Great value for location and hotel comfort

Location was perfect, right in front of Mother Theresa museum. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good with a good amount of options. The room had an old classic style, with carpets and wood furniture, it looked pretty. Very quiet room and comfortable bed.

Not all staff spoke English, but we found a way to understand each other. The keycard to the room would sometimes malfunction and you had to ask the reception to reencode the card, they were aware of this and the re encoding took less than a minute, so over all ok

I stayed there 2 nights. On my first day the room wasn't been cleaned, the tea cups in the room were dirty from a previous customer. On first breakfest all tables were full with dirty plates, only after aroiund 20 minuts some guy came from the kitchen and started to clean.

Location is ok.

The room in general wasnt very clean, especially where is the shower. We didn’t have hot water for a day. The breakfast was nothing special and when something finish there wasn’t nobody to recharge or to take the dirty dishes from the tables. This is not 4 star hotel at all.

The location is perfect it’s located in the city centre but very close to church, you might be wake up very early. Every half an hour you hear the church ringing.

-Location was perfect, a short walking distance to the main attractions. -Breakfast fills the basic needs. -Rooms were clean and the ac was working well. -Staff spoke english very well and were helpful.

-Toilet paper wasnt filled during the cleaning. -During crowded breakfast, the coffee mugs and plates ran out. -If you have a late breakfast, the supposedly warm items have gone cold.

Horrible expet

I was riddled with bed bug bites. Breakfast was very poor, and replenishments scarce. Tables not clean. The promised refund has not yet been received more than 2 months later, inspite of many promises and reminders.

Extremely bad service with no value for your money. The room had one blanket only and upon request the staff would not find another blanket to my partner. None of the pillows or the one blanket had covers which was extremely unhygienic. The fridge did not work because they claimed there was a technical issue. The bathroom was dirty and the sink was broken. This place does not live up to its 4 stars it has on booking. Save you money ans do NOT stay here!

Disappointed by standards

Ideal location in city centre , i arrived after midnight and night staff were really good in explaining everything to me the room itself was huge with 2 balconies although 1 was inaccessible . Bathroom was a good size and clean there were 4 beds in the room ?? with a desk for working from room was very quiet even tho it was facing onto busy area .

Very surprised to find 4 beds in my room although only 2 were made up the other.2 had bases that looked old and dilapidated , the toilet itself was directly behind the door and no a lot of room , the air on in the room was poor mainly because of size of the room , outside the room in corridor were a line of chairs which I can only assume that were meant to be used in the room also a couple of single beds left sitting in the corridor . The breakfast had plenty choice but was cold fried eggs cold sausages cold with no hot food very disappointing the decor in the dining area could do with an upgrade overall very disappointed with the standard normally set by Best Western group

Great location in the center of Skopje. Wonderful room with fantastic view of Mother Theresa's Museum ( We recommend for every one to visit ) Delicious food for breakfast in the hotel, We also enjoyed some wonderful food in all the restaurants that we dined in Skopje

The bed was soft

The "air-conditioner" was a joke that takes over 30 minutes to get anything close to cool. That room was dated back in the 90's. Keep the quality stuff but new curtains without holes and a mini fridge that actually keeps things cold would be a great start. Not to mention the bathroom. Mostly clean yet still awful. The shower is smaller than the hall closet.

I thought the breakfast was excellent. Other reviews said it lacked variety. There was yogurt, cereal, cooked eggs, hot sausages, cold meats, tomatoes, cucumbers, pastries and more. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The AC and wifi worked well.

The first morning, the breakfast room was dirty with no clean tables available. I spoke to management and they took care of it. The bed clothes only consisted of an empty duvet cover but when I mentioned this, I got a blanket.

The kindest staff! Made me feel like at home <3

The staff is exceptionally kind. From reception, the made and the lady in the dining hall. She made us feel like at home, like my mother making sure we have all the food we need, bringing freshly fried eggs etc. Special thanks to the handyman who fixed my daughter's hair band <3 Very quiet hotel ( apart from the air conditioner, but get used to it quickly)

This is a review from my 8 years old daughter: mattress was to hard( fine for me). The curtain was set on fire (*slightly damaged. That is the first thing visible when entering the room and prompts a feeling of unease, could be fixed very simply) TV socket didn't work, had to use fridge socket Would be great to have a socket next to the bed side table to charge phones. A list with important info could be placed by the phone. Eg. reception number and WiFi password

Bad Hotel

The location only

From my friend the room wouldn’t open. It took me 3 times up and down 4th floor to solve this problem. I finally got my older friend in his room when I found out that my refrigerator wasn’t working. I needed the refrigerator for my medicine. The receptionist had help to find a room where the refrigerator was working. I think it took going into 4-5 rooms to have a working refrigerator. Then I finally after 45 or more minutes got my room. I went into the bathroom where the sink was filling up because the sink hall was closed and couldn’t be opened. The system was broken. I ended up taking out the metal part to open it completely. It is not Bose when things not work. With this price I expect more. No bottles of water. It’s a hotel in pure condition. I also asked the waiter to put my ice pack in the freezer to make it hard iced. He put it in the ice cubes and of course it didn’t freeze. At the and let me say that I hardly had food for breakfast. No yogurt, no fruit (only fruit salat that was with sugar I as a diabetic can not eat. No variations of bread. No toaster. Eggs cold. The worst hotel I had.

excellent location and even better front desk staff - we asked for ordering is a cab to the airport and leaving the luggage for last hours we had in Skopje and it was not a problem at all. very comfortable mattress.

air conditioning wasn’t working when switched to heating, toilet wasn’t working properly, there was a blanket instead of quilt and it was itchy. terrible, dripping with grease breakfast (only tomatoes were eatable). it wasn’t the Best Western quality we know from other countries. needs renovation.

The hotel is a bit tired. It’s written that price is around 100€ for the rooms but I paid 33€ with discount. I would say that price with discount is more real price for the hotel. Breakfast was ok. But same 2 days in a row. So I guess on day 3 you won’t be happy with it

Disappointing

The personnel was kind and helpful and the hotel right in the center of the city. All the main attractions are within small walking distance.

Everything felt dirty. Athough by the time I arrived the room was just finishing to be cleaned, there was filth on the floor. There were hairpins on the bathroom floor and the doors of the shower hub were not closing properly. It would just take some thorough cleaning and regular maintenance to make a big change!

The rooms are separate from the reception - out and around the building and up stairs in an open front door building. This was fine, but was a bit odd. TV screen was broken. Overall - all was good.
