Loved the traditional feel of the room, the private spa option and the location.
Let me start off by saying the amount of food you get is incredible! We were amazed! However, we didn't love the food. That's not because we dislike Japanese food, in fact quite the opposite. I would have loved to see a little less options with higher quality.

Both breakfast and dinner are superb and authentic. The room is comfortable. The view is excellent.
The price is a bit pricey.

Great location by the lake and close to kawaguchiko station. Rooms were clean and nice overlooking the lake. Food portions were large and filling.
The room was extremely dry and there was no humidifier available. My throat was so sore the next day from the extreme dryness. Staff were not very service oriented but they were okay.
