    Had a good stay for 3 nights. Walking distance from Kawaguchiko station and close to the lake and a Lawson. No en suite shower but has onsen.

    Place is a bit of a walk from Kawaguchiko station but it is located very close to the lake. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggages up the stairs to the lobby and to your room. Traditional small scale ryokan with a nice shared bath. The place is well maintained and clean. Reminder: Do not book if you cannot carry your bags up the stairs.

    Room is not heated or well insulated which is a problem for colder weathers. Room is very cold throughout the day
