Our host was really caring. The Irish breakfast we've been served was wonderful. The place, next to Athlone's city centre was great and accessible on foot.

The shower was rather small but it was functional.

Clean, quite and functional

The location was good - a short walk into the centre of Athlone. The room and house were very clean and very quiet. There was plenty of car parking available.

I have resolved to never book a place with a double bed again. They are too small for grown-ups - you can't help but nudge your partner getting into and out of the bed. Queen-size beds should be the minimum, but it may not have fitted into a room the size of this one. I guess we should have know how small it was from the floor size provided - though it's hard to picture it until you are there. The bathroom would only fit one person at a time, which was tolerable. The breakfast was average.

A wonderful family hotel near the city center!

Great family hotel! Perfect cleanliness, very tasty and plentiful breakfasts, friendly hosts. There is a park, the city center is only 10 minutes walk away, a great place to start exploring Ireland. I recommend it and dream of coming back again.

Would Definitely Stay Again!

We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding just 10 minutes away. Even though it was a short stay, everything was excellent. We arrived about 45 minutes early and were kindly allowed to check in. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated — it was a real pleasure to sleep in those comfy beds with fresh sheets. In the room, there were bottles of water, tea, coffee, and some biscuits — just what we needed to relax upon arrival. Getting an Uber to the wedding was easy, and the area was very peaceful, with a stunning park view that looked like a movie scene. Linda was incredibly kind and has the most beautiful, sweet dogs! Thank you for everything!
