Not worth the money and tired rooms.

Location Bar Toilets in lobby

Rooms were worn, bathroom in room was tired and dated, mold on ceiling, plaster cracking and falling. Bar food stopped serving at 3:30 on a Sat Night, no room in Bistro therefore had to leave with two kids to get food elsewhere. Was expensive to stay.

Comfortable, Lorna on reception was such a warm and kind lady. Staff in bar were distant and lacked connection with customer although a food issue was dealt with in an exemplary fashion however the staff member had to be pursued to get his attention

Nice hotel and Good value for money

Reasonable walk to town , good value for money , lovely breakfast.

Had a groups of kids football team staying who were very noisy. Should’ve been put on their own separate floor away from other guests. They were hanging out in the halls but when we complained to staff they addressed promptly which we were relieved about. Guinness quality in bar wasn’t great so we stopped drinking it. Other than that the bar was lovely and staff very helpful

We didn`t have breakfast included as we do not eat to much to early in the morning. we did have a meal in the restaurant which was lovely. We had a few drinks in the bar each night and were made very welcome with chats with Luke and PJ Great craic

Good location. Free car park. Nice restaurant and pub in the hotel. Lovely food. 10min walk into athlone towns busy area.

A small thing but Having to use a self check in screen when there were two receptionists available at the time. It wasn’t as easy as it should have been (system didn’t recognise my name etc). Street lighting in car park and along the footpath out towards town is a bit dark. Small smoking area.

The space of the room was great, very clean, tidy and well layed out. Friendly staff and overall a lovely hotel. I'll definitely revisit.

I had an interview the next morning so i went down for breakfast at 07:30 and there was no sign of breakfast so I had to leave with a banana in my stomach. Also no complementary biscuits with the kettle in the room.

A modern, spotless hotel with great food and atmosphere

Modern, clean, and comfortable hotel with a lovely bar. One of our group stayed in the main hotel while we had an apartment connected by a short, covered walkway — very handy for popping back to the bar. The evening menu had plenty of choice and the food was very good.

Phone charging sockets were awkwardly placed behind the mattress, meaning we had to move the bed base to reach them. Otherwise, no complaints. Lunchtime menu not as good as evening menu.

Nice hotel - handy if you’re travelling west from Dublin

Comfy bed, friendly staff, truly excellent breakfast!

Couldn’t get the TV off “audio description” so watching the news was impossible! Car parking for hotel guests the night we arrived was quite challenging so we had to drag our luggage across the carpark because most of the spaces appeared to be occupied by evening guests who were all gone the next morning.

The room was very spacious and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The grounds were large, and the car parking was great. Overall, it is a very impressive premises.

The shower was small, and the water pressure was inconsistent. The hair dryer was a wall mounted device that lacked the required force.
