Our short friendly picturesque retreat

Excellent communication through booking.com (thought we'd be later than the 6pm cut off but was reassured this was ok), greeted by the owner and felt welcome, room was clean and spacious, had a lovely field view from our room, food was delicious (discounted due to being a customer at the hotel) with amazing views from our table of mountains and the lake (Any table you sat at had the mountain and lake view!), the staff accommodated to our lack of German (Sorry) and spoke great English which we really appreciated and they were really friendly and informative, SPA facilities were easy to get to and quiet and we were happy that the Biohotel was family run, organic AND self sufficient!

Great hotel in lovely location

Clean comfortable hotel in a beautiful location with excellent spa facilities. Plus points for us was tesla charger included in cost, we are a family of vegetarians and vegans and we're well catered for. Ate in restaurant for 3 meals, all excellent with great service. Staff very friendly and helpful. We opted for a balcony room for one of us which was amazing with views of neuschwanstein Castle and the lake and mountains. 2 other rooms were without the view but were large and comfortable.

No negative comments from us. Would recommend.

Lovely location, great breakfast, nice facilities but just lacked the level of service we expected!

Breakfast was very good. Good selection of non dairy milk although sometimes supplies of food items ran out! Free taxi to and from station, plus Fussen card allowing free bus travel. Excellent shower and very clean bathroom.

Although allocated a table in dining room on first day, this wasn’t always set up for us - had a feeling they were a bit short staffed. Other guests had their names on the their tables, this didn’t happen for us until our final day! We would have welcomed a little help with our luggage and locating parts of the hotel when we arrived. Layout of hotel was a bit baffling too - would have been nice to have a lounge area to enjoy and meet other guests. Meet and greet didn’t address us at all - we accept it’s a German hotel but felt quite invisible! Kettle in our room would have been nice, particularly as the very hot water tap in Wellness area was a health and safety hazard! Breakfasts were great but we only had 1 dinner and we didn’t think it was worth the money.

Amazing breakfast with a big variety of local products. Friendly service personnel. Nice sauna and pool (indoor & outdoor). Spacious rooms with a lot of light and a balcony with lake view.

There's no WiFi available in-room and the signal was quite low in the WiFi areas - this is not a deal breaker but unfortunately we had to work from the hotel one day which was a bit tricky. Besides that, we cannot complain.

Schönes großes Zimmer mit Aussicht über den See zu den Bergen Sehr aufmerksames Personal, Reinigungsservice perfekt Das Schwimmbad ist in die Jahre gekommen, Gegenstromanlage und Massagedüsen nie in Betrieb.

Das Bad ist mit seiner Dusche ( hoher Einstieg, sehr schmal) schwer überholungsbedürftig Nervig ist auch das Schlüsselproblem- warum gibt es keine Key Cards? Das Frühstück ist wenig abwechslungsreich ( jeden Tag der gleiche Aufschnitt, Obstsalat wenig schmackhaft, da Hauptbestandteil Äpfel)

Tolles Hotel mit perfektem Angebot. Es fehlt an nichts. Sehr nettes Personal, geschmackvolles großes Zimmer, gute Betten, sehr leckere 3/4 Pension, super leckeres und ausgewogenes Essen, toller Wellnessbereich, Schwimmbad, Fitnessraum, Gästeprogramm. Einfach toll.

Das Frühstücksbufett könnte etwas entzerrt werden. Bei guter Auslastung geht es eng zu. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Tolle Lage und schönes Wochenende, allerdings Preis-Leistung nicht optimal

Schöner Ausblick auf den See direkt aus dem Hotelzimmer, toller SPA Bereich, vegane Essensauswahl - Frühstücksauswahl war toll, super Lage des Hotels!

Die Zimmer werden dem Preis nicht gerecht und sind renovierungsbedürftig (winziges Bad mit hoher alter Duschwanne) zudem extrem laute Geräusche der Lüftung im Bad und von der Heizung, grundsätzlich wurde zwar vegan angeboten, allerdings beim buffet schon etwas enttäuschend (es gab nudeln mit Kraut) - selbst das Gemüse war mit Butter gemacht und konnte nicht gegessen werden.

Früstück und Essen war sehr gut

Das Zimmer hatte den Charme der 70er Jahre, schlecht beleuchtet, lesen kaum möglich. Das Bad war sehr klein, die Dusche extrem eng, hoher Einstieg. Frühstücks- und Essräume waren überheizt. Das Wlan wurde zwischen 23 Uhr abends und 6 Uhr morgens zwangsabgeschaltet, machte ohne hin nichts, da in der restlichen Zeit unser Zimmer ebenfalls keinen Empfang hatte.

Sehr schön - gerne wieder!

Das Personal war unfassbar nett und zuvorkommend. Das ist heutzutage leider nicht mehr der Standard und daher definitiv erwähnenswert! Die Zimmer und anderen Einrichtungen waren sauber und ordentlich, alles hat funktioniert wie es soll und das Abendessen war immer sehr lecker.

Leider muss man sich für eine Massage sehr früh anmelden. Man wird zwar rechtzeitig darauf hingewiesen, dennoch finde ich es schade, dass die Termine nicht erst Vorort ausgemacht werden können.

Ein tolles Hotel, in das wir gerne wiederkommen

Meine Freundin und ich haben uns im Hotel Eggensberger sofort wohlgefühlt. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und im gesamten Aufenthalt freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Die Hotelanlage ist sehr geschmackvoll, der Wellnessbereich mit dem Teich wunderschön. Unser Zimmer lag leider direkt an der Außenwand ( zur Straße hin ),so dass es morgens im kleinen Nebenzimmer bei geöffnetem Fenster lauter als erwartet war. Das Essen vom Frühstück über die Zwischenmahlzeiten bis zum Abendessen war sehr lecker.

aufgrund diverser "Kleinigkeiten" passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis dann doch nicht

Etwas altbackenes Zimmer mit allerdings tollem Balkon und entsprechendem Ausblick. Extrem störend war die nicht vorhandene Geräuschdämmung der Türen an den Enden des Flurs vor dem Zimmer (ab 7 Uhr früh). Dem jungen und zum Teil Personal fehlte zwangsläufig zuweilen der Überblick; hier sollte eine bessere Führung geleistet werden, als Unterstützung für die netten jungen Leute und zum Wohl der Gäste.

ES war alles super , das essen war sehr lecker,immer frisch zubereitet, man ist dort auch auf ALLERGIEN und Unverträglichkeiten eingegangen ,die Zimmer waren sehr schön. Beim Frühstück hat es alles gegeben ,was das Herz begehrt ,man hat auch wünsche äußern können ,die dann erfüllt wurden

Schönes Hotel mit Panoramaseeblick

Ein schönes Hotel in Toplage oberhalb vom Hopfensee. Die Zimmer sind groß mit Balkon und Panoramaseeblick. Es gibt einen großen Wellnessbereich mit mehreren Saunen, Hallenbad und Naturbad außen. Besonders schön sind die Saunahütten im Außenbereich. Das Restaurant im Zirbenholzstil ist hell und freundlich, es gibt eine große Panoramaterrasse.

Das Frühstück ist OK, mehr aber auch nicht. Im Allgäu erwarte ich eine große Auswahl an Käse. Dies war leider nicht an allen Tagen der Fall. Sehr begrenzte Auswahl an frischem Obst, es gab keine Tomaten. Leider gibt es abends kein "A la carte". Wem also die Biomenüs nicht zusagen, muss auf Restaurants im Ort ausweichen.

Immer wieder gerne!

Sehr schöne Lage und sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung fand ich gut. Mein Zimmer war mit Balkon, der Ausblick auf den Hopfensee und die Berge, traumhaft schön. Betten bequem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich! Das ganze Essen ist Bio und mit viel Liebe zubereitet! Das 5 Gänge Menü war nicht nur lecker sondern auch schön anzuschauen. Mir hat es große Freude bereitet und ich war auf jeden Gang neugierig! Wenn jemand Ruhe sucht, ist dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Hatte zuerst bedenken, wegen Lärm, weil mein Zimmer nah beim Aufzug war, hat sich aber nicht bestätigt. Da das Hotel aus zwei Häusern besteht, kann es etwas dauern um sich zurecht zu finden.
