FANTASTIC LOCATION, SPECTACULAR BIG ROOMS.

Location is F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C, right in the center of the old city of Padova, our room was big, spacious and spectacular, with a nice view, not at all like in in an average Italian hotel. Here the number of stars really corresponds to the high quality of the hotel.

It was not easy to get to the hotel by car, because in the historical center there are, understandably, narrow streets. Then the hotel employee gets in the car with you and navigates you to the nearby garage. A little complicated, but understandable, considering that the hotel is in such a prestigious position. Also, I didn't like the pillows on the bed, they weren't comfortable. But that's the only thing I could complain about this truly great hotel.

Nice hotel in a great part of town.

The area was perfect. Close to the main piazza and tons of cafes, restaurants and shops. Definitely a more upscale area. The room was large enough with a good view. Very clean and well equipped.

The staff were not the friendliest, but it didn't bother me. The rooms were quite dated and the toilet was so close to the shower that your feet actually had to be placed into the floor of the shower with using the toilet which was weird.

Terrible value for a dated noisy hotel

The location is perfect, it's right in the heart of the old town and surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants, and well placed between the two main tourist attractions of St Anthony's and the Scorvegni Chapel, with a the tram line stop nearby to visit both. Breakfast was good, there was a varied selection available, plenty to stock up with ahead of a busy day of site seeing. The TV had access to Sky channels which was very handy as you got English channels and sport channels. Bed was quite comfortable. I liked that a pair of slippers were provided.

The noise was terrible, to the point I was going to give the hotel a 1 rating. I was in room 307, the head of the bed shares a wall with the elevator, which is very loud every time someone is going up and down. For hours on the night I stayed there was a continuous revving noise from an electrical item, perhaps someone else had their aircon on, as the system in my room was quite loud. You could really hear people in other rooms through the paper thin walls. I couldn't believe this but they actually had someone in the hallway hovering around 9:15pm!!!! I had a long day out and was getting up early to leave the city the next day, so had hoped for an early night, which wasn't to be in this place. Fortunately with ear plugs I eventually managed to sleep. The hotel is very dated and in need of a refurb. The shower was very poor, double door contraption was very awkward especially with the bidet in the way. The two knob system to control the temperature was poor also. It was strange that despite providing a kettle in the room, no coffee was available, just tea. One of the craziest elements of the room was the curtains, they didn't close over, so you only have a very thin transparent white curtain between your room and the world, this is exceptionally poor as you have no privacy, which isn't acceptable given there are windows to other abodes just 20 feet away across the garden. Another bizarre experience was the room key, they attach them to what I can only describe as a weight, a dense heavy piece of metal. Why do this. It was heavy enough I decided I didn't want it in my bag to carry around all day, so had to leave it with the front desk when I went out. This is the 8th Italian city I've stayed in this year, I always book 4 star hotels located in the old town, and I found the price of this to be relatively very high, so I had expected so much more.

Very happy to have stayed in this hotel and enjoyed Padova from its comfort.

Travelling with my husband and adult daughter, everyone was comfortable, including two little dogs that came with us and who were welcomed with their own beds, water and food dishes.

Driving into the designated "no drive" zone was a bit difficult, but excellent guidance by the hotel staff made it much easier. They also supervised the drive to a nearby garage.

Fantastic location and great room. A little bit hard to find by car (satnav couldn’t cope), but they were super helpful about taking us to the garage. Air-con was a real plus as temperatures outside headed towards 40 degrees.

Great location. Breakfast was tasty and had different choices, such as scrambled eggs, bacon and pastries. Hotel is pretty looking.

Staff okay, were friendly but failed to give us more initial details on arrival such as wifi, etc. I would say it’s a bit pricey for what it is. Our shower room was a bit small. Not sure they’re all the same so cannot comment further.

A charming hotel right in the historic centre of Padua. The staff were kind and friendly and the room we had was perfect - elegantly furnished, large comfortable bed and windows overlooking a tranquil courtyard. Delicious breakfasts freshly prepared by the hotel chef each day. Highly recommended.
