Great location and great people. But a slightly overhyped website…

Location was brilliant as were the staff

Not as ‘special’ as their website suggested. The bedroom furniture was ordinary rather than what was promised.

Good centrally located hotel, clean, with limited secure storage for bicycles.

Kind hosts, good storage for our bikes, close to dining.

Breakfast was big on the sweets and fake cheese. Room was small and hard to ventilate.

Incredibly helpful staff; convenient little hotel!

The staff at Albergo Verdi were absolutely amazing. We had trouble on our trip with my partner falling very ill and the staff were so considerate and helpful with flexibility with our luggage storage and booking more nights. I will be forever grateful! I highly recommend this place for other guests - location is perfect and the staff are so lovely.

Only thing to note is the service lift is quite small, but this was not a problem or something I didn't like - just want to point this out to people with large suitcases.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location superb.

Shower a little temperamental. External noise. Small lift was comically slow and you have to keep the button pressed for the lift to continue. Toilet was very narrow and uncomfortable. Breakfast basic.

It’s in a good location close to piazzas and restaurants. My room and bathroom were large and clean. And the breakfasts were great!

They even let me leave my bags with them after checking out so I could continue exploring before my train. The room was spacious and comfortable and the free breakfast was appreciated.

A great hotel for visiting the historic centre.

Location was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Minor problems, but the safety deposit box in the room was missing (which seemed to surprise the staff as well)and the wi-fi in the hotel was not working (not perhaps their fault but it could not be fixed during my stay).

Excellent option for your stay in Padova

Albergo Verdi is an excellent option if you happen to visit Padova. Located in the very centre of the old town, from there you can reach all main monuments on foot. The room is fine, I asked for a quiet one and it was indeed quiet, which is important to me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. The hotel develop on several floors in an historical building, which means that there the lobby and other public spaces are relatively small, but that is fine.

Everything worked well, so I have really no complaint!

The hotel is situated in the centre of the city, close to many must-see places.But the street is quiet & calm.Breakfast is great.The room is comfortable.The staff is very friendly & helpful.

No exact information about parking: it's price & the distance from the hotel. The distance is rather big for people with health problems & I'd prefer to know the price before booking , not when coming there. No information about the air conditioner control. It was very warm in the room at night and we couldn't manage the air conditioner ourselves.They say it is managed remotely by the staff & we had to call them at night.

The room was big, the breakfast nice and the area was good. My stay was enjoyable.

The tv didn't work. I wish we had twin beds, not double. The overall first impression of the hotel wasn't great. The interior was very, very small. But after the initial meet everything was fine. we should be able to rate with half stars.

Central location, close to Palazzo della Ragione, the university and Cappella degli Scrovegni. Bus 6/10 run from Teatro Verdi to the train station. Friendly staff at reception and breakfast.

Heater in the room was very loud. Needed to take care that the door was locked properly.

Room was fine but there was a bit of noise from outside as there is a big student population in the city. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful and nice.

The location was good, midway between train station and center of town, in a safe location. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good.

The room was a bit dated. The bathroom was interesting, as the shower was located between the toilet and the sink, so that the entire small narrow bathroom essentially became a shower stall during a shower. I removed all my belongings and towels from the bathroom before taking a shower so it was not an issue and nothing got wet. The toilet paper was partially protected from the water, but still got wet during showers. Although it was odd, it worked just fine and made for an interesting story!
